this samsung s8300 ultra touch have a super cutie diesign samme as f330 does have.. slide.have a taste for color of the housing so feminine red.,and so emorous black, housing cell with dual,cam. and i love it ! )

i think omnia and s8300 are diferent type of phones.diferent idea conceps!!
a omnia is similar to a pda, without a physical keyboard, higher screen, and a real multifunction device, almost as a small computer.
s8300 stil has a typical phone shape, for people who like to have a smaller "typical" phone, without a OS symbian.
i prefer a phone without symbian, because if i want a real and complete and usefull computer....i buy a real normal and powerfull small laptop, such as ASUS EEE 1000.
it´s cheaper and a real funcional and "powerfull" computer with a real OS.
cellphones with OS are just expensive "toys", in my opinion!
(no ofense for symbian phones lovers, ok?!?)

So let's not start saying it's better than the S8300 simply because it (might) have WI-FI. Almost no one has even had the LG in their hands at the MWC & we don't know the price class yet. So let's stick with the facts and be fair O.K. I hate it when people start glorifying a fone before anyone has had a hands-on!

There is no Wifi because this phone is just a Pixon with a slider. The next models will have Wifi.

just an opinion. Maybe samsung did not put wi-fi to this phone because the Omnia HD has it. Samsung is thinking that if they put wi-fi to this phone, it will be similar to the Omnia HD. The most noticeable difference will only be the HD recording and maybe, just maybe that "HD recording market" for mobile phones is not really that large yet. Adding Wi-fi to this phone might cannibalize the sales of Omnia HD so no Wi-fi for this phone. Just my opinion.
I think this phone is good but I'm having doubts with the battery. Correct me if I'm mistaken, "Oled screen might do the trick because it is energy efficient"

SAMSUNG WILL PAY FOR THE LACK OF WIFI IN THIS S8300!!
i use to love samsung phones, but without wifi....BIG, BIG MISTAKE!!!

What happened to U Guys ? Why r u not Providing Wi - Fi like Small features in yr Phones. Samsung want to become No - 1 in Mobiles. But they r not able to give Complete basic feature of a Smart Phone.
Yr Battery life is not up to d Mark. If in India I hav 2 purchase phone in 20k to 30k INR range I will definately go for A Nokia Phone. They hav Multitasking in their devices + they hav good Software Competibility also + Supurb Back up.

just to close this wifi coment...almost everybody can use wifi to be conected to internet for free!!and i don´t know anybody using 3G for free!!!
so....i think wifi is MORE IMPORTANT than 3G!!
am i wrong???

i heard somewhere, last year, that samsung has the goal to be the world´s cellphones selling leader...so...no wifi in this phone is a BIG BIG mistake!!i think every company has the same idea of the market, that is...SELL,SELL,SELL, isn´t it??
and, in these days, we have a lot of internet hotspots to use wifi, even near a macdonalds, and it´s free!
this phone could be a "mass destruction" weapon for the competiction!!but...........maybe samsung is a freindly company, and full of good guys with heart with the will to go to heaven, with these good actions...!!LOOOOL
of course they should have used a battery around 1000mah!it would not be so larger or bigger than the 880mah, and would fit this phone dimensions!
let see this phone success...!i would to have one, of course, but....now i´ll have to think something!
by the way...very good SAR level!samsung rules in this spec!

If u guys think that SE C905 is not competitive,then i 2 agree wit that..innovo was realy on top till da 2 new SE additions..but now it's Sonyerricson's time..all u guys pls check SE IDOU which is going 2 have a 12mp cam wit Symbian...& da w995 with a 8.1mp cam....they r gona take over the mobile market this year...

yah i agree bigger screen cause more battery but oled might have the chance to fix it. i hope... wifi we'll its better to have it but there are models with wifi anyway try to look for i8910 omnia hd if you want a complete powered phone...
