My budget is 14,000-18,000 and i'm still searching for the perfect phone beside wave II. I just want you to answer my query about p500.
1.)is p500's screen is better than wave II?
2.)i love photography, is p500's camera better than wave II? Is it have flash and a shutter key?and how about the video quality?is it also 30fps?
3.)you said the processor is 600mhz, it is faster than 1ghz?
4.)is it support swype?because wave II has t9 trace like swype.
5.)is the bluetooth is 3.0 like wave II?
6.)is it have secondary camera for videocalling?

Got it some 20 days back. Nicest phone at this price. Particularly impressed by its camera,video recording n (especially) video playback. It my first touchscreen phone, so i was easily impressed. (That might not be the case with others tho). And a jump from 2.8" (n95-8gb) to 3.7" also made the diff.
Nice gorgeous looking phone if u r ready to overlook the negatives. Sound is poor; no stereo unless u r using the ear-buds. Plus the location of the speaker is annoying. (gets underneath the left palm while gaming; so sound gets dampened now n then.) Parallely, still getting used to the camera lens being so close to a corner. Time n again,find my finger slipping in front of it. Plus, i find using the shutter keys a bit tougher on a slim phone aft a heavy built n95.
Bada? Can't help but curse it. So few apps. 8 out of every 10 new app released is a "theme". And so much overpriced? Either an app is free, or it drills a hole in your pocket. No modest pricing in the middle. Having used an ipod touch, bada apps left me disgusted. Won't compare it with android as i haven't tried one yet.
Summary--sleek n handsome handset. U will surely admire it. But the drought in bada, makes it fall short of being a smartphone in true sense, at least till bada proliferates more. And yes, its internet browser doesn't download unsupported file formats eg zip,rar.

If plz can some one help me i cannot watch videos on the youtube as their is a adobe icon on the video do we need flash player or what for playing video and were can i get free games for it as the games are expensive on the website or on kites..... Thanks in advance i love my phone but im not sure why i cannot watch video's

samsung wave2 sucks..!!!!! it is nothing in front of lg optimus one p500,,,,,,, p500 is far more better than wave2 ,,,, everything is fast as it has 600Mgz processor and 512 MB ram... also i recommend p500 as the first option for those who want to buy phones in the range of 12000 to 18000

The battery of my wave2 gets heated while watching videos or playing games. Does the same thing happen with any of the wave 2 users.
There is a firmware upgrade available when i connect to kies. But it requiries 3GB free space to do the upgrade. I have only 2GB external memory card. Will this upgrade solve the heating problem.

ISSUE/PROBLEM: Unable to connect to KIES(desktop).
Hi all ..I got stuck with an issue with my Wave 8530 and KIES. Im unable to connect it to KIES using data cable.
Im xolainng it in steps:
1. I connect WAVe to PC by datacable
2. Open KIES
3. In Windows 7 it throws an usual popup askin fr YES/NO for somthn like 'Do u want the program to change some setting in your machine?"
4. I do YES.
5. KIES gets hanged...and stays so. In the top-left of KIES 'connecting' shows..but the icon doesnt rotate...& it never becomes 'connected' (obviously as KIES is hanged)
6. If I choose NO..still the same scenario.
7. I tried the same in 2 different PCs (Win 7)
I wanna know from the users...that do they also face the same?
Or probably my datacable is damaged?
Or the worst..the cable port in phone is malfunctionng? (if this is so..then it will come under warranty)
Please reply if anyone having a clue...
