Guys dont confuse between c7 & waveII.waveII is far better than c7.dont very bada can also support javs.so u can taste both bada and java apps.go for it i m pretty sure it will nvr disappoint u and gug news is that bada 2.0 at the corner it will totally change the bada os

I am a proud owner of Samsung Wave II (S8530)
First of all, I would like to thank GSM ARENA for their detailed reviews about the latest models in the market. It greatly helped me in taking the right decision...
Now about the phone...
Pros:
-much cheaper than its equivalent phones (htc desire, iphone 3gs, nokia n8, galaxy s, nexus s)
-Excellent, bright, clear and huge display
-stylish body
-nice camera
-superb touch interface
-logically structured menus and interface
-slim build
-nice collection of apps (though the count of apps available is much less than those for android, they seem to suffice all my needs)
-excellent processor
-a jazzy pouch comes with the phone itself
cons:
-battery backup could have been better
-sound quality not up to the mark
-frequently encounter ram issues
I would strongly recommend this phone to anyone who wants to buy a good touch-phone, but is constrained by budget...

Probably the best phone for the money, even phones twice the price are not better than Wave 1 or 2.
But the only pb is Bada and its limited number of apps. But i don't care for apps. By the way there are many touch screen java games which are very good too.

also if u read the specs of wave 2 it says it has got an oleophobic surface which is the same in iphone....it is said it improves the touch sensitivity of the screen...(s8500 din had it)
do u hav any intel on dat....!!!

I don,t know how much touch difference response is there in iphone and wave-II but there is a great difference in wave-1 and wave-2, simply because OLED have faster response time then LCD. LCD display are capable of 1 ms response time offereing a frame rate of 1000 Hz. On the other hand an OLED have less then 0.01 ms response time enabling it 100000 Hz refersh rate. Now because wave 8500 have Super AMOED which is far superior then any OLED so we can just imagine the difference, simply it could be thousand times better in wave 8500.
