Just purchased the Wave 2 and absolutely loving it yaaa...and guys with reference to the colour.
there are 2 colours available
1.ebony gray ( the one shown in the display pic above)
2. Metallic black ( the one that i purchased, i personally like the feel of this sexy mamma)
both are different but i prefer the black one.its sexier

The phone is really good for the price but the limited apps is a major issue. Also I have a problem with connecting the mobile's internet connection to my PC via kies 1.53.
Any suggestions?

the function of 5.1 means it can be attached to a 5.1 output device i.e. 1 main woofer and 4 satellites to it..its like the 2.1 system we generally find attached to our desktops..that function shall be available to you when you attach your wave to a 5.1 output module and not with a headphone or 2.1 speaker system..

[deleted post]You can not set the exposure metering directly from the camera screen while taking still photos. To change rightness or Exposure Metering in still photo mode you need to manipulate other options present in the camera screen like SCN, Settings etc.
But you can increase or decrease the exposure metering value directly from the camera screen while the camera is in video mode.
I am not very sure that this option is not enabled in still photo mode by default or it's an issue with the camera.
But if I bet upon my intuition, I can say that to maintain different sets of exposure metering for the still photo mode, Samsung put different names to the SCNs like Portrait, Sports, Night etc.
But still after setting to one particular SCN like Portrait, Night etc. if we have option to manipulate the Exposure Metering or Brightness, then it would have been the cherry on the cup of ice-cream.

Can we view and edit MS office documents in t... moreYou can view office files like '.doc', '.docx', '.xls', '.xlsx', '.ppt', '.pptx' etc. But you cannot open a '.pps' file or you cannot edit any of the office files mentioned above.
You can also open a '.pdf' file and create & edit a '.txt' file with the help of the Notepad application which can be downloaded from the Samsung Apps freely.
It's really sorry to say that number of useful apps is not great in Samsung Apps yet, but the number is increasing everyday.
But other features of this phone are so great that lesser number of apps won't let you down at all... ;-)

How many apps are available at present? Are they useful.

But the Ebony Gray colored set is not available in different outlets in India right now as mentioned in some previous post in this forum.
I bought the Black colored set as well on 1st Jan, 2011 from Samsung Plaza, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

hi, please help me... while hearing songs through headphones, I couldn't enable 5.1channel sound Effect . it asking me to keep the effects off . but I couldn't find the option to make the sound effects off so as to enable 5.1 channel sound Effect.
But This Same Problem Was Not In My Wave1 GT-S8500
