Hi friends, if you are using wave2, can you please tell me about the battery life? I am a average user who will make about 20 minutes of voice call, 30 minutes of browsing, 2 hours of music and maybe 5-10 snaps per day.

Wave II is a duplicate phone. Anything original about it. Screen is not good . Battery back up is not good. Why this price of Rs.18000. U can get an Optimus One with Android for only Rs.12000 and enjoy.

wave is far far better than this wave2 duplicate..hahahahaha..no samoled very heavy nto slim like s8500 and battery cosume more due to the avarage lcd display...and tolktime is less than wave..bad luck guys thhose who dont have the original wave...witch is the best in gsm arena noumber i spot..haha

r u taking about original wave? i cudnt find it a... moreYes buddy..talking bout wave 8530 only....wat I posted is the exact info from samsung delhi's one of the 4 distributors. Next lot will come in India by 15th jan.,due to year end (financial) procedures of Samsung India.
Only 1 lot has come till date in India.
So..its a high-demand-less-supply situation...obviously stores who have it hikened the price like anythng...i am waitng for 15th jan..alrdy booked 1...wil get in just 16500/- :) ...not willing to shell out 1000-1500 extra for just 15days more..plus would get then quite easily...unlike now wont have to be on a hunt.

@Devil-Hey thanks for the ref., i calld up Mr. Nitin, and gave him ur ref.aswell, he told me that only 1 piece is available with him and that too only in his lower parel branch. He said that the demand of the phone is too high.Samsung is crazy,for gettin this beast so late in the market and that too in very limited quantities while N8 & C7 is eating their share without any efforts.

@Devil & Annonymous-Congrats for ur super duper wave purchase, i wish even i find it soon, I tried a few authorised dealers in andheri, goregaon, but they say its not available yet, and going to mulund seems almost impossible. Even the mobile store doesn't have it. Any idea where i can find it in mumbai guys, please if psble give the name of the shop and its address...thanks very much..

Dear Samsung Team Please Please Please bring this handset in DUAL SIM, DUAL STANDBY, DUAL ACTIVE, DUOS version, with the following additions in it's specs:
Irrespective of what the critics say The New Wave II is a superb phone. Indeed S-AMOLED would have been better. But there are a few more things I would like to add to this superb looking phone:
>Along with Quad Band GSM also give World Band 3G connectivity, making it truely a world phone.
>Another unusual demand is that I want this phone to be a DUAL SIM one like the STAR DUOS B7722.
>Kindly increase the battery capacity to 2700 mAh Lithium Polymer one, the increase in thickness won't be much, but performance would definately improve.
>Now it is possible to put a Dual Core 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm processor with Dedicated Graphics chip and minimum 32 Gb inbuilt Memory.
>Give a minimum of 8 mpx Autofocus camera with 1080p full HD @ 30 fps with dual LED flash and a 2 mpx front secondary video call camera. This should be the minimum standard.
>The screen could be further increased to 4 inches Capacitive Gorilla glass. With samsung's new plant we can expect Super AMOLED2 in this handset too.
>Wave was very good in terms of hardware and we used to wonder if Samsung could put Android in it, it would be much value for money. So why not put Android 3.0 in it.

Samsung I love your creations, they are superb devices, but why leave one thing or the other lacking.
I really liked the Star DUOS B7722, but I would like to have a handset with the above specs. And yes, DUAL SIM handsets have a large market in INDIA, provided you deliver the goods and have some niche in it.
If You can do the same with Galaxy S I9000 without the back chin & the additional specs I have quoted, I would be delighted to pay you whatever you ask.
If possible please try to fit in a 3000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery, we need the juice and it will not increase the thickness much.
Samsung R&D guys please give it a shot. Pls folks.

Khaled, 30 Dec 2010Can anybody tell me how is the sound quality with headphone... morethe battery has started to rock mates....its just that it has to complete its first 4,5 cycles of charging....only after that you can exploit it fully!! the first day it gave me hardly a day... it has started improving now... tootttaly satisfieddd.....
