Yohann, 15 Dec 2010Thank you so much ......... and also to Cooza (did i get th... morefor me i honestly think this is a good phone.i have the wave s8500 so know what im talking about as far as using bada goes.to me bada is smoother and more stable than android and if samsung keep working on it and it gets as many apps as android it will then be more recognised as a really good OS but because its new people seem to be scared of it or something.if you go to the mobilereview web site and see the tests between super amoled and sc-lcd yourll see that super amoled might be better in direct sunlight and in the main menu for its dark blacks but in the image gallery and video coulor quality sc-lcd gives (to me anyway) better more vibrant coulors.it may be the same as the s8500 but when it comes to spain ill be getting it cos i want that bigger screen.also will be upgrading my s8500 to bada 1.2 and then ill have two awesome phones.

I am totally happy with my Samsung Wave, it is a great phone and works like a charm. If (or when) I am to buy a new phone, I certainly wouldn't buy the same thing (because that's what they pretty much are).

i cant believe you people just listen to one site and judge by that.S8530 is way better than S8500.i agree LCD brings more power drain tahn LED but quality is undeniable.samsung always bring new tech to their devices and make them better.I'm pretty sure SCL beats SAmoled.please check the link below and see by yourself then judge...

If You can do the same with Galaxy S I9000 without the back chin & the additional specs I have quoted, I would be delighted to pay you whatever you ask.

If possible please try to fit in a 3000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery, we need the juice and it will not increase the thickness much.

Samsung R&D guys please give it a shot. Pls folks.

Dear Samsung Team Please Please Please bring this handset in DUAL SIM, DUAL STANDBY, DUAL ACTIVE, DUOS version, with the following additions in it's specs:

Irrespective of what the critics say The New Wave II is a superb phone. Indeed S-AMOLED would have been better. But there are a few more things I would like to add to this superb looking phone:

                              >Along with Quad Band GSM also give World Band 3G connectivity, making it truely a world phone.

                              >Another unusual demand is that I want this phone to be a DUAL SIM one like the STAR DUOS B7722.

                              >Kindly increase the battery capacity to 2700 mAh Lithium Polymer one, the increase in thickness won't be much, but performance would definately improve.

                              >Now it is possible to put a Dual Core 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm processor with Dedicated Graphics chip and minimum 32 Gb inbuilt Memory.

                              >Give a minimum of 8 mpx Autofocus camera with 1080p full HD @ 30 fps with dual LED flash and a 2 mpx front secondary video call camera. This should be the minimum standard.

                              >The screen could be further increased to 4 inches Capacitive Gorilla glass. With samsung's new plant we can expect Super AMOLED2 in this handset too.

                              >Wave was very good in terms of hardware and we used to wonder if Samsung could put Android in it, it would be much value for money. So why not put Android 3.0 in it.

                              >Well since I am asking for too much, can you guys also fit in a side sliding physical QWERTY keyboard.

                              >Your KIES is not much up to the mark, can we have something like the Nokia PC suite. It is a much better one.

Samsung I love your creations, they are superb devices, but why leave one thing or the other lacking.

I really liked the Star DUOS B7722, but I would like to have a handset with the above specs. And yes, DUAL SIM handsets have a large market in INDIA, provided you deliver the goods and have some niche in it.

lin, 12 Dec 2010guys, what is the different btwn samsung 8500 wave and 8530... morethe difference between the wave and the wave II is the touch screen. the wave has the scratch resistant super amo-led screen which is far better than the wave II's lcd screen. LED screen is much more clearer and crisper resolution than LCDs.....
