samsung wave 2 is a good phone! you dont have to use screen protector and it has a very sleek and good solid feel....
to some people who complains about software issues about after they convert to bada 2.0.1 maybe u have errors on updating ur device. my wave 2 didnt hang for the last 6 months with bada 2.0. if u flashed it correctly, it shouldnt hang up

I have this phone for two years now. I am really happy even after two years of heavy daily use the phone works perfectly. Ive got no major issues. After updating to Bada 2 i have to do factory reset though to get the phone working properly. Only bad thing about this phone is its OS Bada. This OS was IMHO one huge mistake from Samsung. It looks great, it has lot of features but apps cant clean up their mess after closing. So I have to restart the phone after using any app to clean RAM and back processes. Also there was never enough app developers. Build quality of this phone is excellent. Its a shame Samsung is not using such high-quality materials on Galaxy devices.

i have this both phone , but for gaming i use wave2
because i do spoofing and get all gameloft ,ea ,and many others for free,
but in one x ,rooting is needed for free hd games,which destroy my warrenty, and i don't have credit card for buying apps,as i m student
and 2.0 ui is best
and still love this phone after 1.5year ,

dont buy it ...it gets hang... auto restarting...and got touch prob within a year. belive me..samsung sucks

Its UI is far bett... morewhat specific features are better or new in bada 2.0, and what are lost from 1.2? please dudes let us still on 1.2 know to help us decide to upgrade - we keep hearing different messages, some say bada 2.0 is better, some say much worse, why? what is the truth? appreciate everyone on this forums help on this.

Its UI is far better than android 4.0.4 that am using in my galaxy note... Though you need to sacrifice few features from bada 1.2 but still the update is worth it... Bada lacks app support that are available in other os like the ios, android, windows phone, symbian etc....

I particularly dont want to mess up video recording quality(which is great in 1.2), is it safe to upgrade my wave 2 to 2.0? would appreciate your opinion.

I've been using wave2 for almost an year now and with bada 2.0 for 6 months. Its working perfectly now, yes sometimes caller ringtone is not working properly but if u restart once for every 2 days like I'm doing right now , its fine now. I have to say it has a very good user interface like Android ICS in which I'm using on my SE Arc.

Guys dont upgrade to bada 2.0 its really worst....
I upgraded b4 3 months..now i am facing lot of problems...
I cant able to see my call register entries it shows blank...
During the incoming call the ringtone is not working in general mode...i missed lot of calls bcoz of this...
Some times i cant receive the incoming calls at that time my mobile getting hang....nothing is better in bada so dont upgrade...
And better throw this phone and buy a android...phone..peoples who having 8000rs android mobile enjoying a lot compare with us...i cant even install icici imobile....its just a waste of money....

Samsung service is very poor. My Wave-II got a touch screen problem within waranty period. Samsung service center took the mobile for repairs, as spares are not available with them. More than 2 months have gone but till date handset has not been repaired. I have purchsed new Nokia E5 now. I think I will get my Wave-II back after repairs in 2-3 years :D
