surya, 29 Oct 2010hi most of them saied wave 1 s8500 set is failure... the so... morethats not true.the s8500 is awesome and this one will be just as good.i have s8500 and there is no problem at all.this one will have the latest version os and a bigger screen.sc-lcd is not as bad a people say either.just needs the 3g to be as fast as the s8500 bit its still a good device

Wave2 is good bigger LCD, updated Bada 1.2, and the amazing features is wave2 contains oleophobic surface it just fluid to touch like iphone. but only gap between of two is Wave1 Superamoled darkening colors and brighter, superclear LCD brighter light also but not like superamoled. but for my reason i want wave2 than wave1. it because wave2 it contains oleophobic surface device like iphone, wave2 price here in the phillippines is 26-27k higher than wave1 is only 17k.

I was planning to buy Wave 1 but after reading the reviews for wave 2, i am confused if i should wait for the wave 2 or not. Please tell me which phone is better in terms of display.
Also can wave 1 play .mkv HD/BR rip movies downloaded from sites like DIVXTURKA, moviebie in 720p. Will samsung discontinue Wave 1 once Wave 2 is launched? what would be the price difference between the two...

- Bigger screen
- Brighter screen (super amoled has too much contrast)
- Better OS Bada 1.2
But for me i keep Wave 1 because it is nearly the same and i prefer smaller phone. This one is bigger than Galaxy S...

oleophobic used for iphone, it means touchscreen is very responsive and easy to touch.. iphone is very fluid to touch and very responsive.. nice samsung you always compete to iphone. hehe

THE ULTIMATE MIND, 25 Oct 2010Hi guys Don't Make a Mistake That Super Clear LCD is Better... moreamoleds is better when screen iss viewing black surface becoz the led its self is off Slcd is better than white screen and it boast accurate color....when viewing black surface the backlight affect and it result in greyish color bcoz of lights! two both screen have dis advantage..

Phillippines Prices is 26-27k confirmed higher than old s8500 is around 17-18k. It is Better To Get Android Phone.
Reason Why switch samsung superamoled to Super Clear LCD it is shortage for getting superamoled device. but honestly AMOLED and SuperAMOLED is better clear and more powered colors compared to Super Clear LCD is light color compare to AMOLED and SuperAMOLED..
