overall nice phone but has following disadvantages: 1. youtube video support is extremely poor, even any android phone of half of its cost performs better on this front.
2. Dolphin browser: x button is placed at wrong position and also gives memory full or page too heavy error on lot of accounts. To resolve the issue you need to reboot it each time.

Wave 2 is very bad in using.
when i add my gmail account every time my phone is restarted.
when i insert the 4GB and above memory card my phone is not started.
when we used two application same time phone will hang.
Please avoid this phone....

i tried in hd, full hd , and all type of tv's but it is not working
like if i play video there is only sound and only noise on screen

Guys, this phone is the worst buy at its price. The bada platform is gud 4 nothing. The phone's camera quality as compared to other 5 mp camera phones is way too disappointing. I have really repented after buying it. To add to the misery is samsung service centres whr u wont evr come to know wat exactly is happening. Plz do not buy this phone. U wud b much more satisfied on buying a sony ericsson phone at half the price. Thanx!

Asphalt6 is now out for almost an year on other OSes, while we are still stuck on a 2y old asphalt5. In last 12months gameloft churned out almost 20 hd titles. Ours latest titles are spidey (out sep'10 on iOS), HOS2 (june'10) n lets golf2 (again june'10). Also see EA Titles. We have got NFS shift (q3 2009). No hot pursuit, no shift2, no fifa etc. Got my point.

Anyways, is kies working? It asks for update when i try to open samsungapps. And on check, it says latest version installed. Sammy has got some genius engg at work. Hats off to them for releasing bullshits at such utter punctuality.

I have owned this mobile for the past three months now and I have installed really awesome games. They are not the latest but they are just too awesome to just overlook. I have about 25 HD games and quite a number of really cool apps too. I really don't think Bada apps are that bad(even in comparison to other apps for other OS running mobiles in this price range). I have to agree though, the memory pop up message when you have the weather widget running is really annoying. It seems like it consumes all of the phone's RAM when it's running. Let's have our fingers crossed that BADA 2.0 sort everything out.

Thr are rumors that 2.01 update has flash player 11. Or flashlite 4. Wait n watch. Samsung said it will roll out the updates in july. We are already 5 months in arrear. Newest bla-bla is dutch release on 17th, n rest of europe abt 10 days later. Asia will follow suit. So at max, some 3 weeks left.

To all who r asking whether they shud go for wave2/3 or not--
Pros--video playback, camera, smooth interface (not laggy), gud battery (my cell is connected to umts for more than 12-14 hours a day, battery sustains well compared to my n95-8gb), n aesthetic built.
Cons--bada (dont expect too many apps, but only themes. In versatility, it stands nowhere compared to my symbian n95. I havent used android thus far.)
Games (only 17-18 gameloft games on indian store, jus 5-6 ea games. Forget abt playing mc2/3, asphalt6, nfs hp, gangstar miami vindication etc etc. The latest gl game is spiderman which was released on ios in q3 2010. So u can guess the story)
Gps (its more than horrible. Takes ages to locate u, while n95 locates me within 1-2 sec)
Audio quality (ear buds r perfect, but just 1 speaker in phone means no stereo effect, unlike my n95. But most phones have jus 1 speaker, so u can ignore this drawback.)
Memory full issues (play any graphic heavy game n this phone will annoy u to madness. I have jus 1 weather widget running in the bkground, so less issues. But my sammy's grace, the msg indeed flashes at times even when u have no widgets running!)

Summary-- it u r a die-hard video addict, gud/gr8 phone r u. Crazy abt apps/games, u will b wasting ur bucks.
Dont trust me. Google out. There r so many bada forums. Check them out.
Any1, who is honest, will only say---stay with the mainstream, ie android/iOS/maybe even symbian. Go for sth diff, n bada will push u to a corner.

There is a java app "yourtube". It can download videos from youtube. Being java, it works on many mobiles, wave2 included.
@mico, dont have widgets running while playing games. I know its a stupid advice. But that way, u will have less chance of memory full. Whats funny, that "mem full" springs up even then too!
