What is the point in buying this phone ??? Bada is dead and Samsung will not give any upgrade...Any mid range Android phone is better than this one...If you want Angry birds, Skype, tons of free games and apps don't buy it...I have Wave 1 and happy to change soon.

my gps is working and yes u need net connection to lock ur possition

AnonD-52519, 29 Apr 2012i m using this samsung wave 3 phone for the last three week... more I think u r r8.its have some manufacturing defect.a month back I used this Samsung wave 3. in tht time I can't use GPS not even automatic time date update. whenever I was trying to use those thing my phone take a automatic restart.i sold it.

me pinki.now I m using Sony ericsson xperia neo v.its really awesome. now I can use Skype in 2g connection. I can use nimbuzz e buddy . angry bird fruit ninza. and ofcourse GPS. its doesnt have any restarting issue like wave 3. I love this android ph. Facebook apps its awesome its have gtalk yahoo messenger

i m using this samsung wave 3 phone for the last three weeks...it is a wonderful phone..you can get everything u want such as agps,hd video recording,4 inch amoled screen and so on..
but gps is not working anymore..i went to samsung service center also they coulnt handled this problem...
what can i do ??
Is there a manufacturing defect or a need to do any gps setting ?

The phone is just amazing and it feels very solid inhands compared to galaxy s 2 which is full plastic ..... i changed from s2 to wave 3 !nd i am fully satisfied ... performance greater than samsung galaxy s 2 .. just buy it and you will feel like u r in heaven

Flamer, 27 Apr 2012also can all you old user of Wave3. suggest me nice app tha... morewell my favourite apps are already on wave 3 by default. i use dolphin, video player and music player most of all apps. from the appstore i like skyview and evernote. there are some nice games fore free as well like tintin and earth&legend or asphalt. enjoy

Install separetly image and video hider u also have image&video hider in one app but its a small number of pic and vids available for free...

firstly i belong to india so my comparison may vary from other country user's as you might be having more mobile phone at same price range to compare with WAVE3. but not to my thoughts.
this cell phone is high-end bada phone so that simply means your holding a supreme phone from that category. this phone can give nice fight to 'android' high-end phones like samsung galaxy s-II. well I wont compare this cell with almighty galaxy note but then if you have that budget then go for galaxy note.
This mobile hold its own unique and out of box view. and a feel of holding something you wanted. not a light weight plastic but a nice weight metallic model. all of we agree that when we see a mobile we see its exterior and not its interior(softwares). holding this piece of art gives you a satisfactory feeling.
also about android market well i agree that it has lot to offer, lots n lots of app. i own a tablet so i know about android market also. but on other hand how many of us are really going to waste our hours just to download apps which we wont use more then days or week and waste internet data on such things. if you have internet connection on your mobile and you really want to use it mostly you will go to this sites

-facebook
-twitter
-yahoo
and so on.
well all this sites works smoothly on this cell. ofcourse 1.4ghz is not provided just for name. and I have not seen such smooth youtube browsing on any mobile phone yet.
and other things you all are aware of. superamold screen. greater display, great camera clearness and on and on.
well my opinion buy this cell only if your satisfied that you want to buy it, you can find faults even in buggati veyron if you dont like it.
and if you dont buy it, nice then there will be less number of people using this unique cellphone. afterall when everyone have it, it wont be that unique right.

for ur sony experia you've downloaded the map,but if we don't have the map like in this device. we need the internet connection to get map online and it works for perfectly fine with my airtel 3g service. I least bother about internet connectivity.

For GPS location, why I need good internet connection. GPS can provide my location without net connection. I am having Sony Xperia phone also, I have downloaded MAP and now using GPS I can find my current location and can use navigations without Internet uses.
If I am not wrong for GPS, Internet connection is not required.

Do one thing if u guys wanna check that whether ur device hav gps or not, go to settings and then to location and my location. ur device should be in moving state,and ur internet speed should be good. for particular application, u just need to enable only....
