Even then the price is $399 not $425. And BTW I have never said no one will buy it. I knew there are few alternatives. I'm waiting for AT&T to release Omnia as well.

Kal, 23 Nov 2008Dear Genius. Could you tell me why I would need it unlocked... moreMaybe you should do some thinking before posting. The price of the phone is 425, but the phone is not even unlocked yet. But you can buy the phone by itself, locked to TMo, for 425. Now you ask what is the point in that? The point is for the TMobile customers who already have an ongoing contract but do not want to sign on a new one. These people would not be eligible for the rebates, and that is why they would be paying full price. I think YOU are the one that needs to do some research. And don't talk about how no one would buy it cause it's been flying off of shelves since it's the only alternative to the G1 and the SE TM506 (the only TMo phones that have 3g so far).

Steve, 22 Nov 2008Apparently you are the one that don't know much about phone... moreDear Genius. Could you tell me why I would need it unlocked in US? This will work with AT&T. YES it will. But HSDPA/3G will NOT work. 1700mzh is for T-Mobile only. If I really need it to use with other carriers I would simply call t-mobile and they will unlock it for me after 6 months in anyway. They are bound to. If I'm that desperate that I need the behold WITHOUT the 3g to work on AT&T I would rather get Samsung F480 aka Tocco for $309-$370 from Plemix. Its the same phone with 2100mzh HSDPA. Why would I have to pay $425 to get a unlocked behold? For what? Please do some reserach before posting.

i come on this website all the time to see new and upcoming phones and i had to get this phone after i saw tmobile wuz releasing sumthing worth payin for. I jus got the phone this past week and havent been able to put it down yet. The touch screen is quick and responsive. I love the screen rotation feature since i text all the time. The internet connectivity is pretty quick. The pix frm the camera are really crisp and clear. The only problem i had is with the PC Suite but thankfully i jus used the microSD adapter on my computer instead. The one and only complaint i have is that the speaker is so low. Most of the time i cant even hear it ringing. Other than that the phone is worth it i would say

I don't see the big deal with it not having WiFi. There are only a handful of phones from US carriers that have that feature anyways. The T919 is a great phone, I just bought one for my brother, the touch screen is very good, and i'm not really big on those anyways cept for the ones on smart phones like the new treos. This is a very good phone for its price i think. Its not really my style I love my INNOV8, but the T919's 3G works just fine for the phone. WiFi should only be one more business type phones anyways, the everyday user like the lil feature freaks, will probably never use it. The Samsung T919 Behold is an excellent phone and i'm very please with it so far.

I just received this phone in the mail 2 days ago, and I haven't been able to put it down. It's a great quality phone and feels excellent in the hand. The touch screen IS responsive, however the touch needs a little more pressure than the iphone for instance. The qwerty keyboard is also very easy to do because it provides vibration feedback.
The "full html" is actually formatted to fit on the phone so that you only have to scroll up and down to view web pages, which I actually enjoyed. So far my only complaints are that there isn't "thread messaging", instead it's just individual sms each time, but I can live with that. Also, my old phone was capable of writing in many other languages, this one only has English or Spanish.
The internet is actually pretty fast. Compared to the Iphone 3G, it's a little slower, maybe about 3 seconds slower. But hopefully t-mobile will improve the 3g network.
The camera is really great and so is the picture quality.
I don't really have anything negative to say. I definitely think it's worth the money (i paid $149 with a 2 year extended contract upgrade).

I bought this phone about a week ago and everything has worked great on it so far. I'm an avid texter and so I use the touchscreen a lot more than someone who doesn't text. I need it to be as accurate as possible and it is. The only thing I'd have to complain about is how they try to tie internet into everything, which I don't use on phones, but I suppose that's normal for any cell phone company.

Awesome phone, looks sharp, gets attention, functions great.

I have had the behold for about 16 hours. I like that it is not heavy like the G1 and you dont have to pay for internet service to use the IM. I dont like scolling the left side of menu of the home screen because i always seem to enter an application that i did not intend on using. Hopefully the battery last me the whole day. This phone will do until February when the Nokia 5800 is available.

This has happened to previous Samsung phones I've had. Hope you already figured it out, but just turn it off and turn it back on then it should allow you to enable the Bluetooth. It's some software glitch.

Dude, Chilax. It's a handset, not a data device. There are features in the ui that will be simpler than the iphone or or htc touch, etc. Don't be such a negative Nancy.
