this phone is awesome i gifted it to my girlfriend . Not because i love her so much but because i dont trust her ( she is a compulsive gambler ) and she lives in a different city . Its camera has a geo tagging feature .so she has to take a picture of her every hour after she gets off from work . and that s how she assures me that she is staying away from casino ... i love this phone it has saved my four year old relation . Our relation has improved a lot after i gifted this phone to my GF

Definitely can be used in the Philippi... morein terms of unlocking the phone, tmobile wont give u the unlock codes not unless u have contract with them. but if u really want that phone alot of people could unlock that for a cheap price. i actually have a friend who does unlock phones.

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2009How bulky is this phone? does it have poor battery life?yeah memoir is real bulky. its a very nice phone though. poor battery life and the speakers aint that good. when ur palying a song its like the volume is on the lowest volume even if its in the highest one.

i've had this phone for a week now. I like it a little more than the first days. make sure you do the touch calibration with a pen and not the finger, then the touchscreen reply is more accurate. nice camera, nice user interface, of course it can be improved but so far its been great. camera is really good for a phone. i don't plan to take my wedding picture with it though. very nice phone. even though i was sure when i first bought it, now im glad i did.

I saw this phone on the street once. I didn't like it. I thought the screen was chinzy and the form is not normal.

i've had this phone for 3 days now. what i don't like is the battery life, i have to charge it every day with normal use. can't set videos as a caller id, i could do that with d900. searching contact list is a pain in the neck, its the worst experience i have had with a phone. its so easy searching through contacts with a keypad.
also its hard to capture a clear image of the moving objects with the camera.
if anyone knows how to improve this issues i would appreciate it.

Yeah it's quad band. Definitely can be used in the Philippines. better yet, ask your mom if she's going to buy it from Tmobile to go ahead and unlock it for you. She can just call Customoer Service and they'll give her the code to unlock it.
