Anonymous, 19 Feb 2009Does the phone take good pictures or it is like KU990 which... moreyes the camera is awsome. they actually fixed the flaw of slowness and blur on the behold 5mp. i have gotten to play with the phone already. almost the same as the behold with extra and better camera options.

you can go on internet with this phone just like any other phone. who the hell needs wifi or 3G. you should have a computer at home that is crushing your cellphone.
what are you going to download RINGTONES. That sounds fun. You wanna edit a document use a laptop its better. You wanna download porn or whatever use your laptop it will be faster. watch a movie - use your computer the screen is much bigger. 8mp camera and wvga video on a cell phone in the usa. im buying the first day it hits shelf.

I am kinda surprised that T-Mobile of all the providers got this thing. Considering that most of they're phones were never really superiors to anything my D900 still out performs most of they're line up. I would've thought Wi-Fi would be equiped with this, only on the grounds that T-Mobile still has no solid 3G network thats fully opperational like everytone else. This is a very impressive device I'm still buying the INNOV8 but this is a good alternative to the T-Mobile (or HTC) G1. This by far has a camera that is second to none, that US celluar providers offer with contracts. For those who are thinking of using this as a business phone to me it just don't seem that suited for it. The new Blackberry Curve 8900 that has Wi-Fi would be more need. I love Samsung phones I've had several and they've never let me down (except they're not loud) but all in all if you're looking for a touch UI phone that has Wi-Fi look at some unlocked GSM devices, they cost more but with the massive ammout of phones that are just out there without a contract there's something for everyone. Thats how I got my D900

ok i don't get these people on their phone, this phone is for people that don't use internet on a phone......ex. if you buy a G1 phone it comes with internet option, what if i don't use the internet means im spending money that i don't even use everyday....Memoir is for a person that loves to take pictures and stuff like that....samsung is a good phone but they should improve the battery life span of the phone lol

Wi-Fi is important for those of us on the T-Mobile network. I pay and extra fee each month so that I can talk without the minutes counting towards my “anytime” minutes, at my house or any other Wi-Fi location. Without this function, I would surly go over my minutes; I have a home based business that would suck up my minutes. Customers in my position will have to choose a Wi-Fi phone.

Proof that there's going to be TV-out:

(from T-Mobile's monthly email; let's hope the link works)

                                      http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w46/fuzzysocksclub/memoir2.jpg

It kind of irritates me that T-Mobile said "...from one of the highest resolution cameras available on a touch screen phone."

8mp is not only the highest resolution camera available on a touch screen phone, but on any phone in general.

                                      =]

There's no way this thing is not going to have TV-out; it's an 8mp camera phone.

But I still can't believe it doesn't have Wi-Fi. T-Mobile USA wouldn't change the price if it had Wi-Fi or even HotSpot@Home or whatever it's called, anyways. They always sell phones for really cheap compared to the other companies, minus the way over-priced Wing that seriously needs to be replaced with the T-Mobile Vario 4.

And just because it looks similar to another phone, doesn't mean it's a copy. Touchscreen phones are bound to look some-what alike; you can't really change the design all that much.
