I love this phone everything work great expect the Internal memory which is just 200 MB and its wont allow you to install any apps on memory card and am also having problem with my battery because its doesn't last long.

I really had a love/hate affair with the Behold II. The main reason I loved it was it had a very sturdy build quality, felt good in the hand, and the display was beautiful to look at showing all of the cutting edge of Android hardware for its time. The camera alone was a huge plus as it was one of the few phones that rivaled a point & shoot with the amazing amount of options Samsung added for the 5MP shooter with a bright flash. Few phones ever rivaled it including Apples own iPhone 3Gs for still photography due to Samsungs shooting options and the LED flash. Video capture on the Behold II was a letdown.

What killed this phone was the software and bloat slowing it all down to a crawl. The Behold II had the best US specs for it's time until the original Motorola Droid on Verizon hit the shelves. Aside from the competition, this phone had a lot of issues to address which were to my knowledge, never solved via Samsung or T-Mobile. Memory issues to the massive amount of bloatware left little room left for your own choice of apps and a major problem with the hardware corrupting MicroSD cards causing you to lose your photos, app data, and other documents.

The final issue I had with it was it's music player that had the worst time properly reading id3 tags and embedded album art. Most often if the phone did pick up an image from a tagged song, the artwork was so fuzzy that it was embarrassing. Especially on a flagship device with one of the first consumer phones with an AMOLED display. On the other hand, this was one of few Android phones for it's time that added sound profiles to enhance bass response and other types of presets similar to the iPod app on the iPhone.

This phone when it was working as it should, truly shined showing photos and movies from the SD card on that amazing display. The Behold II would have been a major hit if TouchWiz was more user friendly and less demanding on the phone with the 3D panning to your other home screens and the odd cube feature that was fun to play with for a minute or two and then you wonder to yourself "Why is this here?".

In the end, great hardware but poorly written software (and support) from both Samsung and T-Mobile as the marketing focus changed to the new Mytouch 3G phones which were quite a success for both T-Mobile and HTC despite the weaker hardware in comparison to the forgotten Behold II

@batches dupri. you are rite, their for the phone memory serves useless because you can only save application on it, and no application can be save in the memory card. I installed 2go and mozat when logging in it shows "application stop unexpectedly" inactive Bluetooth and low life battery. Borring

Pince, 03 Mar 2012i can get MTN service, aside all the network.can someone help me?You can't get MTN service because of the sim card you are currently using. You have to go to any MTN shop and have your sim card replaced. There are two types of sim cards, some with 64 bit data bandwidth and 128. I had the same problem with my galaxy with MTN Ghana sim and it was solved when I had sim replacement. Hope this helps you Prince.

I've been using this for the last 12 months & its an awesome phone until I lost the SD card tray/door! you loose this & your dead unless your in US! because you cannot replace it with any other SD card tray types unless its the same SD card tray type! & that tray is not available to sell anywhere else in the world! ugh.. & without the SD card tray the phone is utter useless! no music no pictures no camera! no downloads! (only apps) enjoy! :)
