As far as all samsungnites is concerned including me, our phones are the best because of the designes which is ultimately exceptional and the unique features which set us apart from nokians and sonyericcsians.

Now these nokians and sonyericcdsians are scrambling because of the new ultra edition II of samsung which can compete in terms of functions and user interface friendliness. For that these people are looking any bad issues they can get for the ultra edition II so that they can claim they are still "the best" (how pathetic) in terms of User interface and not the design because nokians and sonyericcsian are underdogs.

So to all SAMSUNGNITES, our phone especially the ultra editions are the best and we know we give our confidence to these phones because we are the same users for its uniqueness.

Long live SAMSUNGNITES.

Can't understand why you cannot customize the central key. Most people never use Wap. Stupid Samsung, why can't they ask their customers what they want ?

Is there much difference in this phone from the samsung e900 not including the camera?

GUTTED - Ive had my heart set on this phone for a while now, but got to use one a couple of days ago.

Please note im not a samsung hater, I really wanted this phone.

                1) It maybe that because Ive come from Nokia and sony ericsson but I found the User Interface (UI) absolutely horrible. Its unfriendly, difficult to navigate and very very ugly.

                2) On a plus point this phone is gorgeous, I used the blue sapphaire version and the colour, style and size of this phone is awesome. Better than the pictures in my opinion. Without a doubt the depth of the phone is awesome and would please any pocket lol.

                3) The buttons are still sensitve like the E900 which was widely critisised for activating in pocket. There is an improvement to be honest but still easy to press buttons while on a call. Also lightly resting thunb while reading texts for example you can find yourself deleting everything and being back at the standy screen all to often.

As I said before really wanted this phone but after using the phone, the buttons and the UI in my eyes makes this phone a definate no no for me. Oh well keep looking. Hopefully another thin slider will come along soon.

If you don't want to connect to the net everytime you press the central key by mistake, just create a wap profile with nothing in it and activate it. When you really want to connect to wap, just activate the real profile before.

to turn off sound when texting just reduce the volume of the phone in idle mode.

the sound quality is excellent in this phone, the only issue i have with this fantastic phone is that it comes with a lousy earphone.

                            otherwise top notch

I have always been a samsung fan will continue. I recently got this phone and having used it extensivley for the past few weeks I am quite fond of it. It a beautifully built phone but the smaller capacity batters does wear down . So I reccomend that anyone hoping to use this phone extensivley should purchase a spear battery and keep it charged. But overall this is a great phone.

I love my U600 but couple of things niggle me.. one is the sound it makes when you send a text, not the delivery report tone just a tone when message sent, does anyone know how to turn this off please, I have been all thru menus and at a loss. Also the tone it makes when you press something that isn't a valid action - awful noise that is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

                                  Q. Your U600 must be different to mine!... my batterys fine & the alarm is excellent, its saves the time fine, I don't need to reset it & it does have a snooze!

But does it ring in Silent mode???
