Brilliant fone. It holds 1000 text messages and 50 on your sim. Is this the only Samsung fone that has this amount? Usually it only holds 500 (Samsung F400 and Samsung U900 Soul) and Samsung G600 only holds 200 plus 50 in sim. It doesn't show you the time or date when you send a text message but if you go into your call log it will tell you, plus I get delivery reports and that shows time and date. I also like the way a text comes through and when somebody has typed certain words like bus, cake, cat, dog etc, a picture of that word appears!! It's really good.

This phone is amazing. Good picture quality, good sound quality. Yeah sure the camera lags but that's the only problem I've found with it. SAMSUNG U600 ROCKS!

I bought this mobile coz i realy liked it's design and look, i hav read people's bad comments about it but i don't find it bad at all,if they hav got the wrong piece then it does'nt mean it's a bad set although there r some bad things abt it but we find it sexy and stylish so we bought it or else u can bye other mobs if u want strength,

I've had this phone for about a year now and its no where near as bad as some people say it is. Personally I like it. I've even gotten sand in it and the sliding action is still smooth. Granted the touch screen can be a little annoying while texting but most of the time its fine and you get used to it quickly. The music player is a little slow but the memory card isn't. And you'll only need to charge it everyday if you use it as an mp3 player. Its a good phone and I don't regret buying it.

Ive had this Phone for 2 yrs, and loved it until recently when the sound stopped working (i could hear a msg tone, but no music would play and when i rang ppl i couldnt hear them!) also today the screen busted, keeps going black, then going all distorted and then all of a sudden its fine again!
im going to replace it but wish i didnt have to as i like it as a phone but cant afford the same model again
looks like its a £10 phone for me, thanks samsung! was hoping this phone would last me a gd 5 yrs, no way!

I had a U600 and thought it was brilliant. The only thing is my touch pad eventually stopped working but samsung repaired it for free and sent it back quickly! GREAT PHONE!

I only got this phone cos my last phone (Samsung D600) was so awesome, and so reliable, good reception etc. Over 18 months of ownership, my U600 has been the opposite of everything my D600 was. It keeps switching itself off & on, (only tuning off the predictive text stops it doing this), the camera is the worst I've ever seen on any phone coz of the lag, the display keep fading off....Its a hopeless, useless phone. Avoid!

This phone rocks guys. If u r too stupid to use it dont buy it. Go buy nokia like my grandmother do.
I got limited edition for only 170$, so cheap.

Your excuse for a revie... moredear anonymous, dont talk about motorola, their bussines will soon end.,so dont go there, i know the n-series handsets r good, but don't blame this cell for its bad reception, battery life, if u love n-series then go buy them, why coming here and talk sh** around here, if u want competition then u900 or innov v8 r the walls of samsung.

Those of us we expressed our experiences throughout the ownership of this phone. Now please do not compare the battery on this phone to the N series from Nokia, especially the N95. Because this phone is at a huge disadvantage in the battery department. Let's not even go there because you do not know what you are talking about. Now as for the voice quality of this phone being compared with Motorola's own "Crystal Talk", it is more humorous of a statement then a statement that would say your perspective is relevant here. I cannot think of one Motorola phone made in the past six years that has worse voice quality than this phone. And let's talk about the awful reception. I was getting two bars where I would get five on nearly every other phone I would try. Not only that, but in borderline locations this phone proved unreliable at holding and finding a signal, aka "bad reception". Now as for the camera: if you think that a camera with a four second lag in the shutter is a good one, then kudos to you. Because I surely don't. And the pictures are not bad if you use it in bright light with minimal movement, but it is nothing special. The lag ruins any joy the megapixil count will give you.

Salam.i saw some -ve feedback about this handset,i like to answer all these trash which was said..1st :if u don't like this set so plz don't buy it, simple is tht,n dont comment over here saying u had bad xpereince over this set,,the internet is ful of info,so do research before buying a set..2nd:people say its baatery life sucks,i dont thing so thts true,ive been using u600 over a month now,its battery quality is same as the so-called n-series(n73,n95 etc),so don't say tht this set don't deserrve to be at the top..3rd: name any cell which will give u tht 2.22 screen size at this price,if i c the market there is no 1,3600 slide is just a competitor of this handset and it has 2.0 screen...4th: the display of u600 is just awesome,sophisticated people r using this handset,including top managers of banking industry..5th: this mobile is a good value for money so plz don't xpress any thing negative about it,its a request.6th: the reception is as good as crystal,the whispering mode reduces the noise level and u can listen to other person very purely...i just love this cell fone,samsung had made a very good cell with a lot of thinking behind it..7th: camera is also nice,much better than the handsets at this price level... i can go on and on,but i will stop here and say again tht don't buy this cell if u don't like it,,if u love it then go for it..go for 5800 xp, it will cost u triple the price of this 1,and u will think u should'nt had wasted ur money on tht,when u get every thing from this 1..........

I have the samsung u600 for 2 years now. Its the phone i stood for the longest time. After droping it maybe 4 times and once in the water it is still working !! the pictures are amazing and the flash is still working. The screen is stil perfectly clear and the buttons are perfectly working too. Never had problems.

The predictive text stopped working, it was constantly turning itself off & on again, the camera sucks as its so slow its impossible to take a pic of anything that moves, & finally the screen died & went black. All on a phone that was 12 months old. Anyone who is thinking of buying this phone on looks alone should think carefully & buy something else. Its a piece of crap.

As for your comment, who needs to lie about owning this phone? It was never a high-end phone by any means. And it can be purchased for next to nothing these days. The phone has some good ideas to it, they simply were not properly implemented. The problems with this phone are so numerous it is difficult to decide which is the worst. Everything from the cheap plastic screen cover, to the horrible battery, to the terribly slow utilization of the memory card makes this phone unbearable to use. The camera is really not that good. Actually it is much worse than the 3.2mp camera on the Moto Z10. And it simply is nearly impossible to take a pic of anything that is moving. The fact that you can only have perform one operation at a time also sucks. You cant have any applications open in the background like with every other phone on the market. The music player is also deadly slow and lackluster. The bluetooth operation of this phone is insanely bad, so bad I cannot comprehend. If this phone was actually made for the US market there would be so many lawsuits over the bluetooth it is not even funny. I see not many people have mentioned how terrible the reception of this phone is. This phone has the worst reception of any phone I have ever come across. And I am being serious as I have tested it against every phone I could. And the reception is not just a little bad, it is significantly worse than most phones on the market. The call quality is worse than any Nokia or Motorola I have used. It is literally 2nd rate. It is a terrible "phone". If you love quality, if you love to have a phone that sounds good, that feels good in your hand; this is not the phone for you. Trying to send text messages on this phone will bring you to tears as you will end up erasing many messages or saving them to the drafts folder. It is also painfully slow, so you will have a huge learning curve, and even when you get over the curve the texting will still raise Cain.I can go on and on, but the point I am making is that I implore everyone to stay away from this phone. Do not make the same mistake myself and thousands of others have made. This phone has one of the worse track records of any phone in cell phone history. I cant think of one phone that has more complaints, one phone that has more issues. There are so many better phones on the market than this one, even by Samsung. This phone was a huge mistake, do not let yourself be taken in by it. I assure you it is rubbish.

I got this phone two days and I'm loving it. The slide design is really comfortable however it takes a little time to get used to it.
It's got a voice recorder, good quality camera/video camera and a decent music player. It's not the best but it suits me well. And of course, there's the nice user interface.
There is also a reasonable selection of Java games and internet browser. Overall, I think it's worth it... but not exactly the one with the best music player.

this mob is amazing i like it!!!
