But i am worried about fe... moreI don't recommend buying this phone.
I've had it for about 6 months now and it's already showing signs of wear and tear.
The whole slide mechanism just looks weak to begin with, I seriously don't know how that has held up as long as it has, it's just a thin circular spring.
The "soft" keys are over sensitive as you said, to open the phone, you either have to touch the screen or hit the soft keys (and one of the soft keys causes it to redial the last number).
It has almost no worth while features so it's overpriced. The camera is good but you have to be patient with it.
The battery lost its capacity quick (not that it had much to begin with). It lasts for about a day now and I don't even use it much AT ALL.
Overall, if all you care about is looks, this phone is very good looking, and that's about it.

I am planning to buy this phone.
But i am worried about few things.
Heaps of samsung phones (slide) have poor screen lifetime and usualy turns wyt wit alot of usage.
Has any one have this problem with this phone?
and i also see that people have problem with the senistivity for this phones screen. hmmmm
But overall i think it is a great phone and can not wait to buy it..
...but maybe not good for an hard out user. :)

Hello my wife has this phone and is terribly annoyed by the touch-sensitive button. Can that option be disabled? Question-2: can the button that connects you to the internet - inadvertedly pushed easily/mainy times as it is the button on the right-side in the standard display - be disabled? Many thanks for a response, much appreciated.

I think battery life greatly depends on both the usage and GSM provider's network quality. If all day long you're sitting with your phone talking to friends - no wonder it lasts only one day or two.
I have this this phone for about 4 months now, and the battery takes 6-7 days. I usually charge it from Saturday's night to next morning, once a week.

i bought this phone like 3 months ago, the thing that i dont like about it is that the battery lasts like maybe for 2 days maximum. also the display is full of scratches, i would like to know whether someone has tried any scratch remover or something like that and the name of the product specifically on this type of mobile. tnx

If you usually listen music from the My Files icon than you won't be able to hear music and do something else at the same time.

It is very nice with very good facilities but following disadvantage:
1)Difficult key push specially for men with big thumbs
2)Very sensitive cancell(c) key that is very annoying while you play games and navigating in menus
3)when you send an item and turn on the blutooth, it remains on and dont turn off automatically
4)when you use shortcut, you can not back to main menu with a single "back".

i have had mine for 18mnths just upgraded with 02 so gave it to me boyfriend its bin dropped down the loo dropped on the floor etc etc had and network upgrade thats it just would like to know how to change the icons on front of phone u know the writing 02 active in the corners of the screen anybody got an idea please

I love this phone. However, 2 of my friends and i have experienced the same problem. the flex. not even a year and its broken. had it fixed though. then the next problem is the touch pad. after getting the flex fixed the touchpad gets busted. i dont know about you, but i dont think 3 persons suffering the same problem is not a coincidence. :)

this is for nitin. if you go into your mp3 player settings you can put it to background music on . you will be able to do other things while music is playing.
