Wait are all the buttons like touch instead of press?

This phone is just way too unrealiable when you're trying to text. I've had my fixed 3 time now. I got it from Vodafone direct (the worlds largest network provider). Still it keeps locking up in predictive text. Also the battery has to be one of the weakest ever fitted to a mobile phone. Sure it looks cool, but after the novelty of having phone that looks good wears off & you find out what a pile of pants it is everytime you try to text someone....I can't wait to get rid of mine, I'm going back to Nokia. Next time Samsung, try putting some of that styling effort into making a phone that is actually reliable & not as bad as the U600 is.

it may not make a sound because either your incoming call is on vibrate or silent or your messaging

my cam settings in this fone says shutter sound 1 is selected, but it doesnt have a sound when taking shots... could someone tell me why? im so disappointed...

I have used this phone for about 6 months. Trust me wat i say is the real fact.
This phone is a good phone if u can bare with
1.slow camera
2.Slow memory card reading.
3. Slow mp3 while changing the tracks.
4. Most important no multitasking.
5. while using bluetooth headset with this mobile it cant do multi tasking. If u come out of ur mp3 player menu it'll disconnect. This is really a big draw back.
The main important thing to buy a mobile is camera,mp3, style.
I think this pkone can only satisfy the style.
Camra really bad. I used this phone to take pictures in my sister marriage. None of photo came good. To give better result the object has to be static. But u can expect in a functing to be static always. They'll move here and there finnally the output is blurry image.
Then comes to mp3. The output is ok not the best in the market.If u use bluetooth headset even for 3 meters away from the headset the voice and song breaks.
Note: I have posted all best about this phone in my previous comments. But by comparing many phone in the market i would say this phone has many features but none of the feature work at the best. If u r k with this u can buy samsung U600.
Even higher end samsung mobile didnt support multitasking.

This phone looks like a dream, especially in the black version I've seen, my only concern is whether or not the touch screen buttons are as naff as the ones on the SE K850i apparently are.
Even if they don't work exceptionally, the depth of the phone should make up for it, not to mention the delicious Video conversion ability Samsung's "PC Studio 3.0" has, which saves me the trouble of messing around with MEncoder.
Looking forward to buying this for sure.

The Phone is soooo cool but i hate that i have to copy the contact pic to the phone memory to use as a contact pic when the phone rings.. and it's soft somehow, i have to treat it with care , but yet i didnt regret having it....

can someone please tell me how to switch the storage device on the phone...just got some external storage (memory card) and not sure how to download music, pics etc so it saves on there...post answer please or email me...thanks

the only code that is of importance is the bluetooth one..this phone's really great..i recommend that you buy it!

you have to put in the activation code to enable java in the U600.
the code is *#9998*4678255#
If you turn your phone off, you have to re-enter the code.
Have fun, you will still need the .jad along with the .jar file.

This phone looks amazing to me =)
I am pretty dead set on getting one.
I have a Samsung now (Samsung d807) & it's alright.
It's just super old.
It was my friends and before her it was her sisters.
It's durable so I'm hoping the u600 will be the same.
The red one and the blue one are soooooo beautiful, but I found a purple one today =)
I don't want black because everyone's phone is black these days.
If anyone has had one for a really long time with some advice, please let me know, so maybe I won't waste my money.

I don't know if i am going to get this phone. I really want to in a way but the guy in the shop said Samsung are unreliable and they freeze and they are the brand that is mostly returned to the shop. He reccomened sony ericsson to me. I have a nokia 5300 at the moment maybe i'll stick with that for now.
