The phone is sexy and i would encourage everyon to buy it it has a smooth feel to it its beautifal numberpad keeps me wanting to play with it it is a good phone

To the person who said they've had this phone since November and thinks it's great - I envy you! I left it switched off overnight thinking that might make a difference ... alas not. It won't even let me view a text that I sent this morning. Back to the phone shop today. Do I get another U600...??? I doubt it.

hey guys what are you talking about. I have been using this mobile since november. During this time it never freezes. Once it restarts itself. This mobile is awsome. Just have it and show it.

Lovely sleek phone. Great idea in principle. Cr*p idea in reality (excuse the bluntness). It seems that Samsung have focussed more on making it pretty, than actually making it work!
It keeps resetting itself to the default settings for no apparent reason.
It suddenly switches itself off - again for no apparent reason (and yes, there is plenty of charge in the battery).
It says I have received a text (nice), but then when I go to read it, it says 'Failed'. Not so nice. So I switch the phone off then a few minutes later switch it back on again (the old off/on trick) and it completely loses said text. Doesn't even register it. It even says 'failed' to messages that I have sent!
Oh, and the camera doesn't always work.
Oh, how long have I had the phone??? Since 18th January.
Don't buy this phone.

I bought a U600 6 months ago - and all i am having is problems with it now
1 - screen freezes all the time
2 - when my ringer goes off it crackles
3 - doesnt recieve msgs for hrs if even at all
4 - when i try to open the phone sliding it up it freezes completley for hrs on end
5 - it turns itself off and on
i wish i have never got this phone its a pile of junk and will be going to see about sending it away for good

Does Samsung U700 have these following features just like Samsung U600:
*FM feature
*TV Out Functionality
*Document Viewer
*Business Card Recognition
*Voice Memo
*Video with CIF Feature
Sum1 post his/her comment b4 that the only difference between the two is just the 3G Feature of Samsung U700.. But how about the features above?
Calling all the Samsung U700 and Samsung U600 users and even the experts to extract their knowledge and differentiate these two nice fones

I don't like this phone because my friend Laurier has one and he isn't that cool which, in turn, makes this phone un-cool. Take that Laurier...i'll teach you to spend $300+ for a phone.

The phone is sleek and sexy. On the contrary, it lacks proper battery life, compared to that of the D900. 4 Stars Outta 5 in my opinion.

i've had u600 for 2 mths now. sliding is not very strong but it's meant to be a good-looking phone. one thing to remember. make sure you get the screen protection film right away. touch buttons work just fine. i'm very satisfied.

Received the Samsung U600 as a gift in November. Very pleased with the phone, with a few minor lapses. However much to my dismay the screen is gone! Just after barely 4 months, noting the phone is new and never fell or got wet ... what's up with that? Anyone knows a site I can purchase a new screen. The phone still works though.

This phone is a pain in the butt to use - mainly in the "touch" areas use, as any close proximity with a digit activates an unwanted setting - a bad Samsung feature.

im looking 2 buy a u600 but will my old menory card fit in it, it is a big one. im 12 so it wud mainly be used 4 vids, musaic, pics an sendin stuff (eg vids, musaic an pics) also i like 2 up load stuff from my coputer is da samsung good wif dis plz reply!!

well, you can return it or have someone to fix it at greenhills if you have the warranty. i bought mine at a gadget joint in megamall and i made sure i got the necessary info i need before i purchased it. just be careful in buying something (especially at greenhills)next time. check everything first, also. :)

i have had this phone for 3months now,and now not pleased about the way its treating me.only use predictive text and now when in use my phone re-boots on its own,dont get me wrong i love this phone and the only one in south africa who has it,so people are quite jealous of me.why is the camera so slow? YET IT has great photo quality,and its also quite soft,surprised its not loud like the F300.o is there anyway i can get settings for my phone? DUE TO THE FACT it has not lanched in SOUTH AFRICA????? thanks please reply
