i got this phone from GERMANY it used by my cousin there and he give to me here in philippines coz he buys blackberry but i got no problem on this phone aside the silver paint was going bad.....

The worst phone ever, samsung worst phone yet!!!
The touch screen works for about a few weeks then it doesn't work, the sound does not work and the paint starts, to come of people do not buy this phone if it doesn't work don't bother to fix it waste of money chuck it away and curse the phone.

This is a very nice phone, i have used it , the paint might peel of juss like anyu other phone, juss get new covers thts all.......good phone indeed!

I currently have the samsang u700 i agree with the people the paint does peel off and the touch buttons give u problems. I sent it for repairs 2 weeks ago and got it back now and it looks brand new its back and it looks so smart the paint does not peel off now other then that the phone id great really like it.

U700 is the worst phone I ever had!!! First the paint started to peel off, then the phone didn't want to charge, the soft touch went and then the screen display disappeared. DO NOT purchase this phone, you could just as well throw your cash in a bomb fire. Oh, and I had this phone for less than 6 months, and my sister too. Hers did exactly the same.

i currently have the Samsung SGH-U700 and the sound does not work, i cant make phone calls nor text messages and the paint has completely come off.

i have this phone and is pretty good... the paint yep.. it pealls but i have a 8gb memory card on it and it works :D thats what i love at it.. and the camera ;)

had this phone very bad paint peel and speaker went and touch screen was non respnsive alot of times. screen flip all the time to with the display.

all i can say Samsung makes great looking phone and i love them but they should work a little on phones with touch screens, am pleading to them so that the whole quality will come with the package...

Hi!.. may I just ask on how would I edit my phone setting when transferring blue tooth files directly saved to Memory Card and not to Phone Memory??? pls help me..

I bought the unit from my officemate...after 2 days it went off/blank screen and i can no longer use it...
had to send it to a service ctr and pay for P7h for flex replacement but after a week it went off again...same problem...
its been giving me headache since then...so to those who would want the same unit...pls make sure you buy it brand new.

I've had my U700 for about a year and some and don't really have much to gripe about. Slider is still solid, haptec is awesome and touch sensors haven't failed (knock on wood). It's one of the slimmest phones I've seen to date that still feels solid in my hands. Spec wise, it's an above average phone. My only non-praising comment is that the chrome finish on the sides wears off with a lot of in-out of the pocket friction. And that has only happened recently. Once it does go, the cheap looking white plastic underneath rears itself and the presentation of the device is tarnished. Other than physical appearance after wear, the device is A++

Ive had the phone for about a year now and I've already replaced the "flex" twice. For those of you who experience a sudden blank screen, keypads that won't work, a screen turned upside down, etc. Then it must be the "flex". Aside from this, the touch screen portion might be a little inconvenient especially for those who do a lot of SMS messaging. The "Flex" is also quite costly compared to other brands. I suggest, if you don't want to experience the above mentioned problems, get a monoblock phone and stay away from slide-ups and clamshell types.
