When you buy this phone, also buy a screen protector because the screen can sometimes scratch easily. Other than that, this phone is awesome.

Don't buy silver colour because the silver paint is peeling, but you should buy the pearl black edition, it's not like the silver models...

I just don't get it!!!
Some are saying:
This phone is a rubbish. 1st the touch buttons don't work well, then it freezes, after that the screen goes black & the speaker doesn't work...
If u r smart enough, the problem appears to be with the whole part of the top slider of the phone.
Thus your flex cable was beginning to broke until its totally broken into 2 pieces!!..
just replace the flex and take better care of it. don't slide it hard. be gentle and it u won't experience those problems. its a sliding phone, like every other brand u will encounter those problems if u do not take care of it.

hey does anyone know how to replace the housing for this phone?? especially with the front shiny mirror like surface. mine has lots of small scratches and its kinda irritating lol~ any help would be awesome, thanks^^

Yes, i also bought a black one, is this an original samsung U700? bec according to the specifications listed here, it doesnt tell about any black.

i love u700.. dnt have probs with the touchpad so far..
the silver on the side peeled off so i peel off all the sides and its grey now and looks even better.
if u have problems with the silver peeling off, try gmask to protect the phone from peeling, u can select depending on your tastes , anyway u can have it transparent gmask.
