Hi,plz can any one tell me wht does the sign of sim represent on the screen?
one thng more,the mobile has a capacity of 500 msgs bt it show me the msg of full memory at 200th msg.why is it so
plz help me out.i am in big confusion......

samsung or nokia??, 22 Nov 2008im planning on buying this u700. my mom will by it in china... moreyes get the black one but ill give you some rules.
dont slide the phone up and down really hard do it softly and gentle i mean it coz i did it hard and my flex broke, buy a case for the casing because it will still peel off always update software because theres always something wrong with each one

im planning on buying this u700. my mom will by it in china. but i have read many negative comments about this phone so im quite confused whether to buy this model or not. im worried about the touch sensitive button what so ever that your talking about. pls give be some advise or feedbacks about this sensitive buttons.. im worried of encountering the same probs with others. im thinking of buying a black one coz many are saying that the silver one's easily peels of. tnx in advance. im waiting for your reply.

I had the same problem explained earlier, phone color has gone with in very short period. Also with very careful use i had to replace its ribbon twice, other than that i think this is really nice phone as far as facilities concern, it has almost all the features you need.

this mobile looks nice for the first week...thenn it starts to loose its color...even the touch srcreen is horrible !!dont recommend this mobile

slide ribbon wire crack and then totally cut so the connection to the screen has gone.... i would say this phone is not good. aside from its mirror color fading or removed in just couple of days. not to buy this unit.

nad, 17 Nov 2008some comments abouts this phone are good some are not but m... moreokay. the phone was awesome while it lasted. i used it for about maybe 1 year. i had pearl black and i had no paint pealing problem at all. i would've used the phone for longer period of time, but it did break on me. the flex broke ultimately i couldn't even turn it on. it's a decent phone. sexy design. if you're in canada, you dont get a great reception. i do recommend u600 instead of u700 though. cheaper, and better reception. you also get the white theme color choice and not to mention font size choice which is nice. u700 is limited to theme/font. other than that it's okay. heck, i dont recommend slide phones in general actually. flex breaks easy. really easy. your choice though. it's not as bad as everyone else says. just take good care of it when you buy it.

i want to buy this phone because it is attractive and it is a cool and stylish phone....but when i read all the comments i don't know if i buy it or not because of the comments...are you all sure that this phone is the worst? please give me an advice so that i will not waste my money.....please reply thank you

Really bad the cover lost its colour after 2 weeks of very careful use... the touch screen is horrible , dials and disconnects alone , and sometimes when u need to disconnect it takes you ages before u're able to do so !!! sorry to say but its really bad
