Question..
-Can i d-load a Game from EA-Mobile coz i really want NBA Live on my phone.
- Is there anyway i can replace the themes.
-How can i maximize the battery life.
- Where are the EMOTICONS...(i have it in my SGH-E250 but i can't find it wiht U700.)

Please don't compare U700 to other phones...they're incomparable....this is far a great phone than those you compare with.

i have this U700 for nearly 3weeks now. I can say its a great phone. when my workm8s saw it. they say 'its Hot!(it really is). Its stylish, elegant(you can even use the screen as a mirror)thin, the center wheel is very unique and it has a very smooth slide. Samsung is really the best when it comes to slide phones. I've already d-loaded games in it(it doesn't have pre-installed games)and i've also used mp3 as msg ringtone.
This is really a great phone except for the battery. i'm having it fully charged in the morning, not using it but when it comes overnight...the next day, i find it it drained.(i've already read the opinions here, maybe its really the ambient temp. and the poor signal that affects the batt. life.)
overall....a success for samsung. Great phone! A phone for Smart people! (for hte ones complaining its not user friendly, READ THE USER'S MANUAL & THE VIEW THE CD MANUAL PROVIDED WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE PHONE AND YOU'LL FIND U700 TO ONE OF THE GREATEST PHONE YOU'VE EVER HAD......TNX & GOD BLESS!

why take it straight to Samsung when you should to it to your servies provider(MTN,voda,Cellc,Virgin) then they will send it off 2 Samsung 4 u!

i just received my samsung u700 yesterday..
i have a question: how do i delete "recent recipents" when creating and sending a message.. i want to erase some for privacy; i dont want to see the history / list of people i recentlt messaged..
im new to samsung.. please help me.. thanks!

hey whoz this guy whoz bro jus bought this phone n is facing this battery life problem? i too bought it 5 days back, n its givin a sucking battery life of 4 hrs on standby. i've literally fought with the dealer, but to no avail. i've yet to go to the samsung service center.
what have you done to get rid of this prob? tell me about it. is it due to the firmware? my firmware is JPGG8. or is it a technical fault or is my battery duplicate? lemme knw please....!!

my brother just got the cell for 3 to 4 day and been in and out samsung service center the batt life last for 3 to 4 hour only even on standbay

Shocking phone!!! Have had it once August & it's been in for repairs 6 times! The cover keeps on peeling & have had the pin charger replaced twice!! Service from Autopage Pavilion in Durban has also been shocking!

samsung u700 is the best phone 4 me,its light n unique design, n its all in one, with 3g..its cool 100% u'll like it.i tried all kinds of phones fr nokia to sony ericsson,moto,etc... n its all same features..samsung is d best 4 me..

go to settings/call settings/all calls/auto reject....bingo you are done! you can edit that list.

CHANGE YOUR MSG TONE
go to settings,
then phone profiles,
then select normal - edit- move the tab accross to the msg - go down to msg alert tone - options - change my alert tone - then simple go into sounds... easy...
