Tried this in the shop today, the keyboard felt very cheap and plasticy. Didnt feel like it would last well. Put me off it quite a bit. How can keyboards be so hard to get right?

Thnak you Mr H for your message.According to the specifications, the maximum capacity supported by the phone is 8 Gb and I know there are 8 Gb micro SDHC in the market, but I thought the SDHC (as opposed to SD only)were not compatible with the U900. I will check that out. Appart from that, excellent phone, no problems with volume or any other issues that have been discussed here.

I have a K850i, i tell you the camera on the G600 and the U900 are just as bad as each other, they claim to be 5mpxl cameras and they do not take 5 mpxl pictures, i have had a U900, G600, K850i and N95 8GB out and looked at the picture quality. In order they go
1. K850i
2. N95 8GB
3. U900
4. G600
they are all 5 mpxl cameras yet the G600 and U900 look like 2 mpxls to me.
besides that, if i could take my K850i back and get the U900, i quite possibly would. It is a very sophisticated looking phone and very slim line, with myh K850i, i have gotten used to the touch screen so i do not think the U900 menu touch screen will really bother me.
overall ratings:
Looks: U900
Camera: K850i/ N95 8GB
Keypad: K850i
Ease of texting: U900
Size: U900/G600
Loudness/MP3: K850i
Weight: U900/G600
My choice is between Sony Ericsson K850i and Samsung U900.

I got this phone at the weekend. I had no problems removing the battery cover but did have problems getting it back on. Managed it eventually.
In relation to the ring volumes, I had no problems at all. Its as loud as any other phone i've used. AFAIK the volume during the call itself is determined by your service provider not the phone so maybe check that out.
The only thing I don't like about the phone so far is that I can't seem to create a shortcut to the radio, only to the music player.

I just got this phone on Friday and I love it.
Does anyone else experience slow speeds when uploading MP3s on the phone through the USB cable? It takes like more than a minute per song to upload...

please tell me:
1) It really doesn't have TV out?? it's strange for a full option phone like this.
2) Can we see downloaded JPG files in fullscreen??
3) Can we put password for sections such as "phonebook, gallery and ...) ??
4) Is the sensivity of touch pad good for scrolling up& down ?? I mean is it easy to use the touch pad or it needs time to addict with that ??

I've had the phone for 3 days
Its well handy having the auto lock can you imagine what would happen in your pocket if it didn’t. The camera is pretty cool a lot of people liked that. Funny enough more blokes like the phone than women I don’t know why.
I haven’t found any bad sides to it yet but the sound quality is not the best. I plan on getting bluetooth kit for the sound and should make it safe when driving too

I would say that this phone is really fantastic. I bought it yesterday and I am falling in love with this phone. The Specifications/Functions as well as the features of this phone is great. And the price of this phone is quite affordable too. It really cater to my needs. The touch screen of this phone isn't too bad either. =)
