I have dropped my fone on concrete several times and lastnight the display has disappearred on main panel and touch display!:(...Can it be fixed by upgrading software? I have to keep turning it on and off to get the display going again....SIGH!:( i want my fone working again.....

U can make it white if u set the color intensity to the highest. So there is no red :( and as for purple,it doesn't matter what u do it just doesn't show the color u want (just a little pink color which just doesn't look good). So I am sorry but this is a problem seen in every soul out there.
As for the photo slide wallpaper,yes it only lets u add the pictures (via the camera) in the moment u accesed the photo slide desktop view.

Hi everyone. I've had this phone for 6 months now. I'm pretty happy with it. Just have a few questions: my touchscreen doesn't have all the colours, I mean, I have the blue, light blue, green, yellow, orange. But I have no red (and the screen says I do), purple and white. In a few colours it has blurred the touchscreen, manily in orange. Did that happened to you? Do you have all the colours in your touchscreen including red, purple and white?
On the other hand I've been trying really hard to put a presentation of photos on my wallpaper, because it says it allowes it, but i have had some problems because it makes me take photos at the instant to put them on my wallpaper. It doesn't leave me pick photos already taken, that are on my album, wether they are on my memory card or in the memory of the phone. Does anyone else have a problem with presentation of photos as a wallpaper?
i would really appreciate your answer!

Love my Samsung fone had it 17 months now. I use predictive txt how can i save words and delete words that pop up. If i type in 'is' 47 comes up and if i type in 'at' CV comes up. Can anyone help?

Thanks a lot guys,u really helped me out :) Had this Soul for 3 weeks already and so far so good,everything is briliant! My batery lasts for 2-2.5 days with moderate use(1 hour of music,watching a movie,5-6 calls,just playing around with it) and that is very satisfying for me!:) The camera is superb,it has loads of features. The only thing that makes it drop some points is the somewhat poor speaker:( I tryed the volume enhancing code to increase to 4.5 db but the sound distorts pretty bad after that.But I am fine with that because I don't really listen to music on speakerphone too much. Some people say that they constantly miss calls because of the phone's weak speaker.Well I beg to differ! Even on the street with intence traffic I can still hear it + it has a vibrator(not extremely vibrant but OK) so missing a call is probably out of the question(4 me at least). Also I am very anoyed by the fact that I don't have any games on it >:( In the GSMArena review they stated that the phone comes preinstalled with some games(at least trial versions) but I searched EVERYWHERE but I can't find any. I tryed downloading some games from the net but the JAR. file is unsuported :( So if anyone can guide me on how to download and install some games on my Soul it would be very sweet:)

This is the worst phone I have ever had
1. It is terribly slow, response time is frustrating
2. The screen and back plate scratches easily
3. The touch pad interface is a gimmick and buttons work much better.
4. Reception is awful. The U900 shows "No reception" when all Nokias in the same spot shows 80% reception strength.
Because of this, I will not buy a Samsung again. Their inferior antenna design and slow microprocessor will only damage the brand.

Oh cmon...isn't there someone who can answer my question? I downloaded a video converter and managed to convert my xvid movie into MP4 but I think I set it up wrong because the audio went way ahead of the video. Um,I am a girl and I am not so good at this stuf so if someone could explain me how to set the bitrate and ratio and ,well,I don't know those things. Again help will be very appreciated.

Can I play a full lenght movie on this phone? I read the review and they say u only have to convert you're videos to mpeg4 format. Can someone be kind enough to explain to cive me a link to a video converter?Also if u convert a video don't you have to input some resolution or fps or I don't know,something for the movie to fit the screen? Help will be very apreciated :)

Deffinetly the samsung u900 soul. I'm not saying the c902 is not good,but the Soul is a lot more fun. + It gives u a class that Sony E will never gain in their handsets.

I've had the phone for several months and it works really well with one exception - the reception is poor compared to other phones in the same location. Other than that, it's a cracking phone.

dropped it many times and it's lived to tell the tale. Only problem is i cant view streaming media. This could be a problem with the service providers in South Africa though.
