hi guys...i just bought this phone a week ago...and iam completely happy and satisfied with the performance...yea the camera seems to be a touch of bother if ur looking for a better quality photo...and for those who whine about the sound quality of the phone need to get their ears checked..cuz the sound is really good enough...so is the music of the phone..overall its a pretty decent buy..

I wanna ask about the Java MIDP support, Is it possible to us to download / install Java (JAR) files into to the phone? I mean like in Nokia or Sony Ericsson, there is an easy way to add a new java application.
Because, last time I use Samsung was D500 in 2006, there must be some "hacking techniques" to install Jar file from PC. thank you...

About battery life. If you think that battery life it too short, try this.
1) My phone was set to choose network mode automatically. So the phone chose UMTS. I changed to GSM mode, because UMTS uses more battery power (found that info on Google). UMTS can transfer data much faster than GSM, but if you don't use internet, this is not important. Also, I got better signal, because GSM has better coverage in my town than UMTS.
2) You can reduce display light level a bit. This should help too.

Hi all, im buying this phone. All seems good, but I'm just wondering what is the V on the end of U900? (U900v)
Is it the network? e.g U900V= U900 on the Vodafone network? Thanks for your help.

MISSY, 17 Dec 2008I have this phone now its only a day old i have it in Midni... moreUnfortunately, there is no way what-so-ever to download themes into this phone. You can only use the basic 3 themes the phone comes pre-installed with. There is no way for you to download extra themes. Which sucks, because I also wanted more themes.

hero, 18 Dec 2008How is the slide machanism on this phone? does it shake aft... moreIf you're second choice is the LG KF510, I think you should re consider and check out the LG KF750 Secret. It's a competitor phone with some pretty nice features. Not to mention the front display screen is made out of tempered glass, it's nearly INDESTRUCTIBLE. You can set it on fire and try to scratch it with keys and it won't be scratched.

hero, 18 Dec 2008How is the slide machanism on this phone? does it shake aft... moreThe sliding mechanism is stable and reliable. It will not feel weaken after continuous use, and will not get wobbly at all. I love the way it feels. It feels solid and durable.
When you insert the memory card, you can create your own folders and it will appear in the phone as another folder that is from the memory card.

Aron, 18 Dec 2008How do i zoom in and out when taking a pic?
Is there any w... more1. To zoom in and out. When you're holding the phone sideways (landscape) to take a picture, there is a button on the bottom side of the phone. It's also known as the volume button when you're in music player mode. Press it to the right to zoom in, left to zoom back out.
2. To set yourself a message alert tone go to Menu->Settings->Phone Profiles->highlight "Normal" profile and press the left soft key for "Options". Go to Edit. Move over one tab and you will see Message Alert Type, Message Alert Tone, etc.
