I went to those settings and went to shutter sound the only available options are shutter1,2 and 3, there is no None option. I also, have switched off my keypad tone, yet the camera sound is still there. I absolutely love this phone, but the fact I know people have been able to switch it off, yet mine doesn't have this option really pisses me off. If you know what I should to, please it would really really be appreciated. Thanks

i haven't used a u900 but i've had all the d models. you should be able to it your text settings. should be an option to block a specific number.

did this phone accept applications like call manager - black list and other ones?
also what about the resolution of the screen is it good like the camera?
last thing is the memory, some one here said only pic and video could be saved on is this true we cant save the other media?

Is the picure quality good taking pictures in the dark. e.g. has it got a good flash

g810. outstanding build quality, wifi, tvout, 2.6" screen, symbian, 3.5mm jack, better camera, vga 30f/s... and its available in gold :)

Buy this phone u900 its a pocket friendly and loaded with features. G810 is bulky very thick.

Dorian, 07 Sep 2008Hi people. I would like to know how to switch off the camer... moreIn the camera mode, go to the settings (upper soft key, at the end of the available options), go to General Settings and there is an option of the shutter sound, set it to None.
OR disable the keypad tones (in the standby screen, press the volume keys until the sounds are disabled).

Can anyone let me know how to block a number, i have found reject call option but this still allows text messages......... ive got myself a stalker and would really appreciate any information on this as i dont want to have to change my number or perhaps i could give her your number instead lol :)

I've seen phones that will be coming soon in about 6 months time, and still none have managed to top this phone in terms of design and customisation.Trust me, the first impression (which is exciting, happy) lasts with you for a long long time. Also, expect people to go green with envy, all my friends so wish they had the phone, but the can't now because i got it! ;)

Hey
I have a Samsung Soul and it is really a great phone! Yes, I must agree that the ringing volume is a bit soft, but noting out of the ordinary. I tried the code thing and it does work but I changed it back to normal. I think that if Samsung wanted it that loud THEY would have set it to that level. Connections speeds are very good for browsing and downloading (HSDPA). I use my phone mainly for business and it handles all the tasks effortless. Battery life is average, given that my 3G is constantly on. It last for 2 - 3 days. The dealer (I'm from South Africa) told me to use the battery until it dies and then for 3 times charge for 10 hours and use again until it dies. This will help prolong battery life. My phone is in my pocket or on my desk and thus far, touch wood, have no scrathes. It is extremely customisable so I set it to a professional look. My personal phone is a Nokia 6500c, that one is my fun playing one ;p. I have had no problems connecting the phone to my pc and transfering data or using it as a modem to connect to the internet. I give this phone the thumbs up and would recommend it to anyone looking for a feature packed phone!!!
