how come i cant zoom into pictures?... i select a photo, then pressed option, then zoom. on the left side of the screen there is an indicator.. stating press up arrow to zoom in, down arrow zoom out. thats all... i pressed everything that can be pressed on the phone but nothing happens... am i doing anything wrong??? p.s when i select the zoom option the touch screen area changed to 4 arrows, up down left right and ok at the middle. but no use in the zoom mode

To the owners of this phone.
I am planning to get this one. The features I am looking in a phone are: good camera (about which I see everyone says it's good), a good music player with good audio output and a nice feel and design (which the U900 has).
The only thing I see user opinions are split is about the audio quality of the music player.
My questions:
- is it really good?
- is the provided headset bad?
I am asking this because I tested the D900 music player. The handsfree was bad and the audio was pretty distorted.
And if the sound quality is bad, can anyone please give me some advice of a good stereo Bluetooth headset?

A buddy of mine just got one. I was thinking about picking one up myself until i really handeled it. I've got a D900 which i love but its getting old and is begining to become out of date, and i'm starting to have problems with it. The U900 is a beautiful phone in pictures, in all honesty it really didn't look the same when i had it in person but thats just being picky. The touch interface is cool. Its a very solid performing phone, but I don't really think its worth the money, by friend's gave him a lot of issues within the first two weeks, very serious overheating (which i think was what killed it and required a replacement), his touch pad died out and the phone was just a paper weight for a lil while, and it really didn't operate very smooth, then it just stopped working all together. His new one works fine, but I would think by now that all those little problems would be resolved. I was really looking forward to it, but it just really didn't impress me nor really live up to the hype that was generated, i'll probably end up with the new i8510 Inov8.

Can anyone tell me if this phone AUTOMATICALLY saves sent text messages ?! Some phones dont or manually require u to save it. Pls help !

Hi' got my new unit as a replacement for my defective u900 after almost 2 weeks of waiting. Its slide up is no longer wobly.Been using it for 2 days and im satisfied with its function.Speaker sound can still be improve. The message alert tone can be customized using downloaded sounds unlike my previous E900, D900 and U700. As an average user, this unit is perfect for me.

I bought this phone. I find its speaker a little bit low compared to other mobile phones like SE, Nokia, Moto etc.. Is it only my phone or is it really its spec? also, its battery lasts for a day only. Just clarifying stuff out before I return this to samsung for repair. Thanks!

You cant turn off the T9 permantly on this phone !!Thanx R8. called samsung this morning and apparently it can be turned off permanently but not if you are on tmobile, due to the firmware! This is a pain as i am on tmobile lol. i guess i will just have to get used to turning it off every time i text, cos i really love the phone!

when make a call n talk like 30 minits or so, while at the same time charge the phone, the phone gets hot, even at 1 time the phone stopped charging and it states battery overheat.. or something like that, cant remember. And if i use video recording for a long duration of time... the phone gets hot also... is my phone faulty or is this normal for the phone???

I love my new soul all except for one tiny problem that is bugging me big time. I cannot get to grips with predictive texting. would anyone have any idea how i can turn it off permanently? i know by pressing star key it turns it off but when you exit the text it resets to t9. Thanx

Hi can someone help me. I have a 4gb memory card in my soul but i now have message coming up that the message memory is full and would like to know how i can change messages to be saved onto memory card as opposed to the phone memory
