even though i already have a samsung e730, i still have my V200. i don't why i still keep it maybe i still like the design.

V200? the worst phone I ever had... or maybe it's the Samsung that did not anticipate with the buyers? What I hated with this phone is when texting, it will make you upset since it is not user friendly.. you need to press more keys for the next character... my goodness! I plan to sell this phone but I felt shame because for sure, they will not like it so I rather give to my sister instead....

Great colour LCD!
No Bluetooth - bummer
No mp3 ringtones - bummer
camera quality : ok (for the olden day cellphones)
FolderFlap physically wears out very soon - like after about 1 year or more.
Games are ok, but not great : especially the one where u look after a cat and you actually have to care for it else it dies - sweet!
No Java support - big bummer!
Sms Inbox - tiny! (I think about 20)
MMS for the first type Samsung V200 didn't have TakeandSend but you can it adjusted at SamTech (+2721551-9142)

Hey there guys,
I have used the V200 for an year before I switched over to the Sony Ericsson P910i. I must say that initially I was very happy with the handset and it had practically everything that I needed. But, later on, as time started moving on, I found that there were a lot of nitty-gritty things that could have been better.
Firstly, there is a facility to click pictures with the camera. Very good, but, you can't set a picture for a caller-id. I mean, these are absolutely mundane things that you would expect with a camera phone. And also, the lack of Bluetooth. I must confess that I have a voracious appetite for bluetooth transferring and the lack of bluetooth really put me out for an year.
Secondly, the internal memory on the phone was a joke. No, not a joke, it was hilarious. Just to put it straight, too little memory. And also, when you were transferring images from PC to Phone, it wouldn't let me transfer an image of over 128 x 128 resolution. LOL !!! And also, the fact that there is no support for any kind of memory expansion.
But, all said and done, the display of the phone was absolutely "Exciting" as the name suggests. I haven't yet come accross a 65K colour screen that is so rich in textures and colour display. This is one arena where the phone beats any competitor hands down.
All in all, I would suggest that you buy this phone if you're interested in a basic phone for sending and receiving calls and messages and for the occassional shutter-bug. If you want anything more from a phone, I wouldn't suggest this to you !!!

this is a perfect phone. i got it about a year now, and within that year its been dropped over 500 times ( seriously ) and its still working perfectly.

this phone is really good ive had it for about 2 years and nothing has ever gone wrong the only problem with it is it doesnt have a dictionary for speed text i love this phone

this is the best phone but my dad doesn't know how to keep his promise and got the freakin wrong phone when i asked him for this 1 your very lucky if you have this phone! have fun while im stuck with the same freakin phone i already have and i hate it alot!! dont get the v220 thanks!!

I had this v200 for 3-4 months when it first released in Australia. Nice phone, not quite user-friendly as I thought. The only thing which annoyed me was the antenna and that was probably one of the two reasons I sold it.

If you want FM radio & MP3 included, may I suggest you to PAY MORE and get SOMETHING ELSE. Don't expect to get 5-star service when you only can afford to pay a 3-star service.

hi everyone.. i luv V200 design its very nice phone with good colour,stylish design, it good sound but no video recorded no,and a few game.camera picture dark and many lines in the screen and picture not enough sharp.

I had This mobile and after 7months the camera did not work anymore and then after 8months did not let me change the wallpaper, i could not enter in the memory where i saved my ringtones and pictures.
