I still use this phone, and it's honestly not bad. Yes, it's slow, and there's not a lot of apps, but since it's an android phone, apps can be downloaded in older versions because of apks. and, I would root it and update it to android 4.0 (because you can update it to android 7.0 with rooting). But that's only possible with the GT-i9000 models (I have a SGH-T959W model. Only released in Canada.)

Red, 13 Dec 2014I've owned this phone for 4 yrs, it has served me well howe... morevisit xdaforum n upgrade to kitkat or lollipop.. Even I've been using vibrant since 4 years.. N i upgraded my phone to lollipop it performs very well.. great battery supports all the apps.. but still its not good for gaming but it will fulfill our basic needs

Great phone....awesome focusing in the camera, can play 720p videos, but hangs sometimes,also latest apps unavailable...smart and sleek also

I have had this phone for about a year now and it is horrible. It always powers down has a low battery life and is slow. I would not recommend one.

I've owned this phone for 4 yrs, it has served me well however the gps never worked. Not a big deal as I didn't need it. For the past year it has been wearing out, gmail not updating. Browser not working properly now. Will be retiring it soon and using it as a music player
