This mobile is nice.using the internet is so quick & easy as i did not expect.its 16million color also makes it attractive when using internet.but its picture quality made me dishearted.its manual also has no use.

I have had my M1 for a couple of days now. Overall its not bad, but there are a few flaws. Firstly i need to add this is the first smartphone i have owned. Flaw 1 (which is quite a big flaw), the SMS screen is sooo small, its very easy to touch the wrong key and the predictive text doesnt help either as you have to touch the word you want. Flaw 2, a call comes in, you have to drag your finger across the screen to accept the call. Flaw 3, you cant seem to choose one of your music tracks as your ringtone. I think you may have to access your phones file system and move the file into the ringtones section to allow it to be used as a ringtone.
Now the good points. Good point 1, it accesses you facebook accoun (once you have signed up) and downloads all your friends onto your phone so you can see their pictures and get access to their facebook details very easily (small downside is that you then have them twice in your phone, once as their facebook account and again as the mobile/landline number you had in your phone previously so its a case of writing the mobile/landline number down and adding it to the facebook account one. Good point 2, it has a nice GPS system which works well, however as you would expect, indoors it doesnt work. Good point 3, some useful apps can be downloaded, not as many as iphone but then again i feel a lot of iphones apps are just pointless. I am happy just having facebook and google maps on mine.
If you havent used a smartphone before it may take a few days to get used to but i feel on the whole its a good phone/sat nav thats a massive fraction of the cost of an iphone 4.
I would give it an 8 out of 10, only marking it down due to the texting screen keys being so small although this may be something i may later find out i can make bigger, in which case i will then give it a 10 out of 10.

Well, i adore this phone, but it's so slow! I have had to sent it away twice and after a week, its the same story once again! I have this phone for another year yet before my contract ends, so fingers crossed it wont break down on me again! x

I have had this phone for a while now, and haven't experienced any problems so far. The screen is responsive and accurate, the O/S runs quickly and smoothly, the internet is super fast (I live in an area with extremely good 3G coverage), the phone book layout is good (occasionally I do use the alternative one), I like the apps available and widgets, the battery life lasts ages even with high levels or internet browsing and video playback. And I only paid £80 for it at my local Vodafone shop which I consider to be a bargain.

I nearly bought one but didn't like the idea that I couldn't return it within a few days if I didn't like it - otherwise I definitely would have bought it. As it was, I was very tempted but decided at the last second to find some reviews about it before making a decision. I guess you've all answered my questions. Thanks. ;-)

What you can do is:-
1 - Connect your phone to your PC
2 - There should be a list that appear on your phone
3 - Select Install PC Suite.
4 - It will redirect you automatically to the website where you can download the PC suite.
5 - Install the PC suite
6 - once you open the PC suite it will recognise the phone by itself.
7 - Then it will prompt you that there is anupdate available for this mobile phone.
8 - it will update it for you and then you can set the wallpaper

Terrible, terrible phone, awful GUI, 360 features make an absolute dogs dinner of your contacts.
It's full of bugs too, for example:
* Touch screen does not respond
* Qwerty keypresses not recognised when texting
* Does not automatically start text with capital even though the symbol says it will.
* Does not remember words you manually key in texts (and no option to add).
* Does not remember whether you use predictive or not (defaults to non-predictive)
Also, you cannot delete pre-installed apps, desktop is horribly cluttered and the O/S is painfully slow.
THE worst phone I've ever used, having to get my 2 year old N82 unlocked so I can go back to a proper phone and not this Mickey Mouse BS.

dwayne, 05 May 2010seriously I,v just baught 360 m1 and can,t do anything on i... moreif i can use it then any gadget freak can use.
it's a wonderful phone. Use it mainly for MP3 and Mp4 and Youtube.use it on Wi-Fi to view youtube and the videos were streaming more rapidly than the iphone i have.
compared the screen with iphone, it has better resolution that also in a cheaper price

Ghmz, as i bought this phone for 120e new with 8gb external memory card from vodafone without any contract in Ireland.1 st the manual is crap, u can`t find nothing good inside, besides there aren`t many phones this year without wallpaper funktion, that`s a waste for girls or girly boys. Vodafone released auto push update to all M1 serie phones. After the update the processor runns like crazy+there is a wallpaper funktion availible. So after the update it gained 60% of speed overall.I`ts now fast wich was earlier rly slow. The headphones are realy good as stock, bought sehnheiser because the split cable lenght was not analog to other one(But the quality is the same,stock as good as a real good quality headphones). Fm radio crazy good,also u can check by frequency the signal+600Mhz processor for such small price is a madness!!!
What can i say. The best phone for its price.

To anyone who is interested in buying this phone...DON'T!! .. apart from its design and HD experience its got little to offer... very slow which is irritating and also jams alot .. poor phone and DEFINATELY not worth the price!!
