It's really handy. But can someone pls tell me how to get more ringtones on it? Anyone knows about some sort of cable? (Is it possible?). Help me pls. Thanks.

This truly is the best little phone I've ever used. I own a Nokia 8800 and since the battery sucked so much I bought this as a backup.. I was surpised to read the specs saying this phone had a talk time of 3 hours.. I've used it even today after a full charge for 3 and a half hours talktime and still have enough battery left over for another hour.. The standby on this little 'gem' of a set is 6 days.. The voice quality is better than my Nokia 8800& the built in handsfree is much louder and crisper.. It's so small and light that you can forget it's in your pocket..
I give it 10 out of 10.. Excellent set.. This is the set that will convert my loyality from Nokia..

How to turn OFF the sound (loud melody) when
X160 is turned on or off? I don't like it.

U can keep silent without vibration. after keeping in silent mode, go to sound settings>alert type>keep in melody> though it is in melody again u keep n save it. then check it dont vibrate. Repeat this everytime u wan 2 keep silent without vibration. but this dont work 4 msgs.

Hi all... The phone is very simple - the best thing about it is the design and the display is very nice for a low price phone. It doesnt ring a vibrate at the same time (major bommer). The vibarte+ring feature is not simultaneous... its one after the other. That does suck!

HeLLo.. this phone is really simpl.. it's used just 2 make calls.. and also it has cool ringtones.. but i think it need 2 be wav capable.. dats all.. but i think the most perfect thing in this phone is the designe.. its vey cool.. bye

Alot of people are writting here that there is aproblem with ringtone and vibration at the same time. There isn't any problem, on the Alert Type option you can choose "Vibration + melody" and it will vibrate and ring at the same time.

The phone is good for it's price. The phone is great if you only want to make calls. It has the coolest bowling game but I think you can't really download more games. It's simple, very very simple, not many extra features, it's just a simple phone. Great if you just want to use it to make calls. However, I'm a sms messaging addict. I bought it for texting mainly because I have free text messages for any vodafone number. The phone is not good for messaging. I've been writting text messages for 6 years, I write fast too fast, I write without looking at the mobile because it just comes natural. The phone is slow while messaging, too too slow for me. I write way faster than the phone. Because I write alot faster i'm guessing it sometimes gets confused because out of the blue it starts writting stuff like "kdgfjgjkghkfjdgkjfdj" and then I have to wait until it stops writting delete that part it wrote wrong and write it all over again. It's a pain sometimes, when I'm writting really really long messages, it takes me 10 minutes to write e a message I can write in 3 minutes on my other samsung z300. Also, say you want to write a message that is 3 messages long. Everytime a new message starts (withing the same message) it stops and sign will appear on screen saying "2 messages" if ou delete a character it will go back to 1 message and it will stop again and a sign will appear on screen saying "1 message". That is annoying, very annoying, whats up with that? My other samsung is not like that. All in all, I'd love it if I didn't text message so much. I've had it for 6 months but I'm buying a nokia now for my birthday

it is a very good phone!i dropped it many times and it hasnt got a scratch!i havent got a problem so far!
ps. can someone tell me please if there is a data transfer cable for this phone and if yes from where can i order it

its looking very stylish and simple.
but there is less future in samsung x160 model. there is no download feture and only 14 ringtones in this model its not hereable and looking this phone is very stylish and superb

It's a nice phoone with attractive look. If this had mp3 and camera then it would be my 1st choice to go for it. I thnk now samsung should start thinking for the middle class people also as they are especting from the samsung.
