(+) Simple design, light weight, small size.
(+) Compatible with (old) Samsung's serial cable, just download all the applications from the official website. You will be able to manage your phonebook, SMS and calendar from your PC. Importing phonebook from the computer also possible.
(-) small capacity ... memory for Java application is too small.
(-) too many click required to send SMS, and making a call.
I think it is nice low-budget mobile ...

to stella or any one interested in dis phone .... i bought tis fone as a standbuy and i am stuck wid it
plz do not buy this phone the gprs , wap thing sucks big time
the ring tones are really lousy also freakin fone does not vibrate and ring at da same time
i keep on missing important sms just because FREAKIN SAMSUNG did not bother to put long sms tones , most of them are just like a beep or ting ......... very easy to miss in a quite room forget bout a busy street
overall a very sad experience with samsung , rather buy a nokia or sony .... if u still wondering were to spend ur loose change give it to charity for aids or homeless ppl .... u will get a lot of blessings
point being never ever buy samsung

I think the X160 is a very pretty phone and I think I'd like to buy it. But just like I asked about the X200, I'd like to know if the gprs/wap on this handphone is good. With my old samsung X460, the gprs/wap only worked for a short amount of time and I don't want to pay extra for a another phone with gprs/wap that stops working. Help?? And does it have the most standard ringing tone?? Like that of a house phone? Because the X460 didn't and the poly that was provided was not nice at all. Please somebody answer my questions...

I really like this fone. colours are so good & handy the only thing is to flip open the set to see missed calls & reading sms. 1.2mb memory is really not enough. Normally the fone is ok for this price!!!
