good phone, does what it should do.
what kinda disturbed me though is that there was no "normal" ringtone available, only melodies, though I might be alone with the need for a "monophonic like beep beep ringtone"

Hi I am writing from Malta.Great phone, even if you don`t consider the price. Always used nokia phones but I really love this phone. Great features, user friendly, & I don`t need a camera which I very rarely used anyway, although I would have liked a radio which I had in my previous phones. I think it does it`s job well. Good price too.

I bought this phone just yesterday, i love it.
It does what a phone should do, no more - no less.
If only it was available in all black colour it would have looked even better.
Great value for money, go get it!

i like this model of samsung .. coz of its faboulous outlook... its really a business class set.. but i will thankful to that guy who will tell me abt the software through which i can ownload ringtones in it. coz pims n file manager etc type of softwares are not working on it.. i use irDa for this purpose ..plz some body help me for this purpose...

i got this phone 1 day ago its gr8 cheap but some littile problems with games but everything is not perfet over all gr8

a really great phone i bought it 2 day ago, it light, fasionable, stylish, and i was astonished to view answering machine in such a cheap phone, thumbs up SAMSUNG!!! well done,
but while using this phone u will notice it's upper flip is not very tightly placed like in other samsung phones.

Got this phone for a week d.It was great,light,stlyish.The battery is last for 3days plus.
Juz the Irda cannot send & received ringtone.But u can download it via GPRS or MMS.The ringtone support MMF file and Midi file(which is commently use in Nokia & sonyericsson phone).
The original ringtone is loud enough,but if u set the download ringtone or from mms ringtone,the sound is not so loud as the original ringtone.Sometimes cannot hear when the phone ring if u put the download song as a ringtone.There is no vibrate and ring at the same time,too bad for me.So have to use the original ringtone.
Overall this phone is very good if u juz need a basic phone with poly ringtone,colour screen,GPRS and MMS with no camera.Out of 10 i will give it 8.Like it so much..!

Good point Tudorache. For a busy and active person the only interaction with his phone is answering and calling, so that's the only thing a phone should do. Why do you need a heavy and ''exclusive'' phone that does a lot of things bad and eats battery life for nothing? For people that want to impress by having an expensive phone here's a piece of advice : phones are not houses or cars :) who cares what phone u got ? :)

This is a phone for the ones whom want a phone. I personally don't use any of the features that others are missing in this phone. For ex. hy should u get a camera phone when the best does crapy pictures compared to a photo camera from the medium range. A phone should be use for it's main purpose, because that's the thing that makes him a ,,phone''. For all other things there are apliances that do a way better job than a mobile phone.

from Darren,SYDNEY AUSTRALIA,Ive got a blackberry as a buisness phone, but its big n heavy, i got this one for weekends n after hours, all i wanted was a cheap basic flip phone, light weight, good battery, easy to use buttons, yeah the x200 doesnt have a camera, who cares(use ur computer for that))this one does the job well, long life battery, small, easy to use, 10/10 for a basic phone. i dropped it on the ground and it held up ok, buy it, for the money its great value..adios amigos

hi! i just bought this phone for my office mobile subscription. the advantages were that it is cheap stylish and very light. the only drawback i found on it was the absence of profiles. u cannot have different user profiles and switch between them. buttom of all, it is a very classy and in the same time fun phone.

A really really good phone for da price. abt da ppl who dont like the phone...tell me how many phones in this price range hv bluetooth n cameras??..
abt answering a call by jus opening the flap one has to mark Active Folder in da phone settings...
wht i wanted to know was whether i cld get ringtones via da usb cable...n if so frm where n how??

1. Cannot communicate with some phones by IrDA port
2. Voice quality is not so good like other model
