I have no problems with Irda. It works just fine for me. And you can set 10 different ringtones for 10 groups, thats enough for me. The really bad thing is, that Java applications are veeery slow. So it's not the smarthest phone, but it is very stylish, and ergonomic.

Rated - Not good. (1) Problem in Activating Infrared. Moreover there is no specific menu for sending the desired Data/EMS/SMS/MMS and any such thing which other phone gives. (2) problem in Setting the Individual Ringtones for Individual Caller.
(3) There is no provision for locking the phone thorough the any particular Key from the Key Pad.
To be very honest, It was'nt a wise decision to buy gthis phone.

i think the main disadvantage of this phone is that it does n't have any external display !!! i think it must be an essential part of a clamshell phone...

hi....i saw it at the store. its mind blowing.the design is awesome. i was planning to buy a nokia 6030 but i think i can compromise the fm radio for this eyecatching design by samsung.good cost,good phone,good value.three cheers for samsung.waiting for my salary and i am off to the store..cheers!!!

I bought this phone today. Is very slim and functional, but I hope this phone have vibration and melody at the same time and not vibration first and melody then. I am used to nokias and they vibrate during the melody so if this phone is not like that i would miss it.

allard ,Im from Bulgaria and my english is bad:) I used a IrDa cable to connect any samsung phone to my pc,u just have to download the proper software for your phone.Its easy, if you have some other questions?

i dont know its just my set or is it a design problem, but the voice quality ( in a call ) is terrible, do reply if someone else has the same problem
