what does ufb screen mean? i dont want to spend much on this phone. I love the size, and considering its for a primary school boy, I need the games to be interesting.. whats the battery life like?

Was attracted by X430's slim design, i turned to Samsung user after used Nokia for 4 years. The function is ok but compare to nokia phone, still not so user-friendly. I got a data link cable also. Using easyGPRS, i could connect download the address book and SMS from my phone to PC. But when i tried to transfer a picture into the phone, i always failed in the end of the process. Can anybody help?

S500 the TFT screen is superb but it does not have mms, java games, cannot write chinese sms and so on.....how to compare with X430. Although the X430 is UFB screen but definitely it is value for money and just like the X100A.

I've got one X430 here. Overall, the functions are good. But when I compare it to my friend's S-500, I think mine loses. Ah Fan is right, TFT colour screen is definitely better than the UFB colour screen. S-500 has a clearer image.

i bought samsung X430 and also a data link cable to connect with pc.
but the samsung GPRSeasy program seems can't detect my phone and the status will always be offline.
can anybody help me on this?

Er, just to let you people out there know, this X-430 has a UFB screen. Therefore, don't expect too much as UFB colour is poorer and you can hardly see it under bright sunlight. Buy S-500, better, TFT screen and defintely better colour resolution. Besides, no external screen means you can't see who's calling you. You have to open the flip & look at the number before you answer your call. Sound troublesome, right?
