My first mobile phone with color display, back in 2005 (?). After removing the simlock, which felt like a mix between being a hacker and disarming a bomb, I also managed to drop a looped audio file on it, which was Busta Rhymes "Pass The Courvoisier Part II" and went like "Don't this **** make a ***** wanna JUMP! JUMP!" You'd think the X450 couldn't deliver a decent audio quality, for a custom audio file like that, but with some adjustments beforehand on the audio track, then converting it to the format the X450 used, it came out loud and clear, out of those tiny speakers. That's what I have in mind, when I think about this model and back then, I just started dancing before actually getting the call. Ha ha, good times (when baggy pants were still sorta a thing)! Later, I gave that one to my mother and she really liked it - that certain ringtone was not her ringtone though. Ha ha I think it lasted till 2015 or a tad longer. The keys were pretty used, but functional, yet the battery had become very weak. Finding a spare is not a big deal and I think she still has it. Despite having an external antenna, it wasn't uncomfortable in pockets, because length and thickness of the body was relatively short and slim. When I used it, I kept it in a baby sock, which was also a thing back then. :^)

today i tried to set date on this phone. i did not succeed. maximum accepted was last day in december 2014. i could not set year 2015. even in the calendar the last year i could see was 2014. How can I solve this?

AnonD-53041, 20 Aug 2012same problem here, I can hear ppl, but they can hardly hear me.remove the rubber/plastic thing from the mic hole. people will able to hear u again. :)

Turn on your phone without the SIM-card
Enter *2767*3855#
Insert the new SIM-card, and see if it is unlocked

I cannot open when I'm still at my own country cos they say that they need a code or locked code so that it can be used in my country network. I need to know the code. please cos I don't have one and I need to use this mobile.

I think this was the best mobile I ever had. I still use it when my new more sophisticated and more troublesome mobile needs repair.

This was my 1st phone too it was my BD present from mum
its great & stylish .... it was stolen from me & i cant find it in shops anymore :( :(
