yea,donno bout battery,but wit the infered it only stays on 4 bout 60 sec's, and i tryed to inferred som thin to me friend but didnt connected wit it and i tried to infered it to my mums phone but nothing, ol, who no's

ok guys, infared not that hard to use. just go to settings and hit "infared activate". on the other hand, what is a vga camera? like how many megapixels is it? if anyone can tell me i'd love to know, havent yet figured out if its good or bad.

infered, how do u work it, lik wehn u purchess the phone u should be able to work it, not make it work by down loading n stuff,wat happens if som 1 doesnt hav da internet and really need infered to work, lol, i donno

i still dont get it, all i got in my pack was the safty ear phone plugs, so when yr driver u hav to hands on day wheel while talking.

Its very easy to make the infrared work. download the software Samsung PC Studio II frm the company website. once it is installed on ur laptop, open it up and place the handset in front of the IR port of the computer. Go to phone settings and select "Infrared activate". the 2 devices will then communicate and the phonebook will start downloading to the PC. to download images go to "File Manager" icon and select "My Photos" folder from list to select photos.

do you have to ring up your mobile server to get the infrared to work? on any phone? like how you need to activate mms by ringing up.. because it keeps saying "sending failed"...

TRANSFERRING GAMES FROM PC TO PHONE? This is not possible with this phone. In fact this is usually only possible by transferring the files to the phones SD Card (if it has one) once that card has been recognised by the computer as another drive. What you can transfer using PC Studio:
1) MIDI (.mid) sound files from PC to phone's Sounds folder
2) Photos from phone's MyPhoto folder to PC
3) Images (.jpg, .gif) from PC to phone's Images folder.

I just recently bought this phone and yeh its alright, except for the fact it doesnt have bluetooth and the camera isnt 2 flash... i just wanted 2 know what ringtones u can download and play on it ? if anyone knows it would be appreciated

Peter, where on this phone do you find a Tools menu? Perhaps other Samsung models have this mass storage feature so that the phone looks like another drive to the PC.

When you connect the samsung phone to the computer, you have to go to tools> mass storage> then hit connect to PC. It acts like a hard drive. No software needed.

PUTTING MUSIC ONTO PHONE. You have 2 options: 1) get it by download to the phone either from a website offering ringtones or from a wap site that supports the handset. 2) transfer sounds from PC to phone via infrared or cable (I have not got the cable option working yet). You will need to download and install the Samsung PC Studio II software to do this. But you may be only be able to transfer .mid files, so no real nice music!

BLUETOOTH OPTION question. I know it is confusing when some people say it has bluetooth and others say it doesn't but I have the phone and there is NO BLUETOOTH however GSM Arena and some other sites still mention bluetooth which is incorret.

i have just bought this phone and have not been able to find the bluetotth option
i also dont know how to put music onto it
