Alpha, you said it. Take whatever you get for it and get a REAL phone. Give it back to your dealer and tell him to change it for a better one by adding a bit of money. Even if Samsung gets the nobel prize for mobile phones I wont buy another one. All you readers out there. Get rid of this scam....there are thousands of better phones much cheaper...before it gets u...!

    Nice phone,good camera,great pics take with camera and sent to PC.You can send pics: Phone to PC,but not to another phone.

          well, i find this phone very nice, looking at its features and display and all. BUT, there is a big but!!! He keeps hanging and i can't seem to get it fixed. I've already brought it to two places to repair this very enoying error or as I call it a "sickness" of this phone. I think this problem was caused when it fell, but that was just one time. And I still can't believe that that one time made the phone go psycho. I've also tried to replace the software, but still not good. Is there somebody outthere who can really help me with this sick problem. And for me it's a big loss cause i've only had it for 5 months and already it's giving me a headache. And the price I paid for this phone was $225,- and that's a lot of money for me. So please can anybody help me!!!!!!!!

            good phone heavy memory nice style but the irda worx only with pc and that s makin me crazy zhy all samsung dont send with irda they just receive and from computer only this is a big problem they should find a solution to succeed the commnication with nokia or sony ericsson pepsi have a good time c u soon

              Ali, u are very right when u say that we have been cheated with this set. My sets cam has gone out of order, and now its become impossible for me to get rid of this set, as no one wants it. Very poor reputation in the market due to the hanging problem, a hallmark of this model, and with a bad cam, it won't even sell for peanuts. this is my first and last samsung phone, for this decade at least.

                very nice phone. but camera has no long life. if anyone buy this camera, pz don't rotate his camera. pz keep still his camera and shot the snaps. if anyone drop this phone it causes lot of problems like halting, hanging etc... it's very sensitive phone, pz use it carefully.

                  I bought this mobile a month before.It has very good camera options and also very handy.The resolution is also very wonderful(640*480).The only problem is that I dont have the compatible driver to install the usb driver cable.I could download the samsung Easyshare software from the samsung website but I couldnt find the exact driver.Can anyone help me????

                    I have tried to download the necessary software to enable me to downoad my pics to the pc....I have had NO luck, and after a year still am unable to view my pics other than on the phone! pls can anyone help

                      The melody of my samsung X600 has become so low that its inaudible.
                      I;ve tried solutions from the internet like *#8999*8378# & 2:2 without success.Kindly tell me how i can get back the phones melody volume back.

                          When I bought this phone back in september, I thought I had the best in the market. This is basically a camera with a phone, not the other way round with very good resolution pictures, 180 degree rotatable lens ( for all you narcisists out there), 9MB memory and a good display. The sound is also good. Apart from these you are basically stuck with a very boring phone (The games suck and the ones you can download via WAP equally do so). I found this out when I had to dispose it off for all the trouble it was causing, restarting by itself and a very slow WAP browser.If any Samsung guy is reading this, they owe us an apology for cheating on us and the financial losses we have been through.I know many guys in this forum are very happy with it but pleeeease...dont keep it for more than 4 months...there may be exceptions but overall it has been misbehaving at one point or the other. This phone should had been recalled back to the factory long ago. Theres not much you can do with the camera except for watching the snaps over and over again till you have to delete them for want of space.And plus...it doesent support videos and animations. Believe me people. You can have ten times more fun in the same price...get a SE K500i...you won't be sorry.

                            i am using it for one year. 2 months ago its camera stoped working.it gives error when i started camera.than it close by itself suddenly. i try to call someone than bang! it halted. you have to take off the charge and put it back than open than again bang! :) it goes like this 10 times maybe more.

                            if you gonna buy it,think again.

                              the telephone is great.i have many pefect pictures in it.i have got it for more than 10 months and works like anew.

                                DON'T EVER GET THIS PHONE, THE HANGING PROBLEM WILL GIVE U A GOOD RUNAROUND FOR UR MONEY.... forget the features, they r all crap after the hanging problem starts, plus the camera may stop working anytime, the way mine did. Its price has fallen like anything b'coz of this problem.

                                  I loved the phone until it started acting up. No problem with the camera..its one of the best available...but the phone kept restarting again...some problem with the power supply I suspect....However I had to get rid of it as long as someone offered some good money for it...I had to sell it at 60% of the priginal price for only a 5 month old mobile...No one wanted to buy it...so bad has its reputation become...However I added a little extra and bought myself a SE K500i and am now one happy man. One advice...the X600 is great but has problems...get rid of it before no one wants it.

                                      I am unable to use IRDA facility. The features column indicates that it is to be replaced by bluetooth. Can anybody help on this? The IRDA is active only for a minute. Can abybody or Samsung help in correcting the situation. The local shop persons are unable to comment on this.

                                        hy there. yes this is a nice phone! i have a question: does it supports mp3 or wav and if yes at what quality? becouse i used easystudio and i cand upload mp3, just mid or mmf.
                                        Can i convert mp3 to mmf, with what? its strange becouse i figure out that mmf its a mid actualy..but maybe im mistakeing . PLs answer me if somebody has an idea. Thanks!
