i bought a usb cable for my x620. Whenever i connect the cable into the phone's socket, it gets switched off. The usb is also not detecting my phone. Can any1 tell me what the problem is? I've installed the software from the samsung site. But the phone's not getting detected. Some1 pls help me...

I got x620 and usb cable for E700 which should work, but when i install cable driver it dosn't install it corectly. Do i have to find a specialy for x620 cable with drivers or may be it dosn't work on XP SP2?

Hi,all I am a user of X620 butI have face two problems
1)Never success to use its Infrared functionality, please tell me,How can i use it and its limitation.
2)I want to activate GPRS on my phone but not get the settting message which is sent by service provider.
Please help me on these issues.

Does anyone know how to transfer pictures from mobile to PC? I'm not able to receive any ringtones which my friends send to me.
If there is any way to transfer pictures(photoes) from my mobile to PC, please be explicit in suggesting me the ways!Thanks in advance!

I too am having problems transferring photos from the phone to PC. Bought a data cable, followed all the instructions but still no luck. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, you can contact me on my e-mail.
I'd also love to know of any sites where you can download ringtones for the X620

I have been using X620 for some time now, its a lovely phone with clear network reception and clear photos!
however, this phone has master reseted itself twice within a period of 1 month. sometimes when you end a call it hangs for almost 40 seconds. is theresomething that can be done about this?

I have X620 with me. Its very good. Its outlook is too good. I have U-fone connection but there is something wrong with it. It doesnt receive ringtones from
u-fone network and its Infrared is not receiving ringtones from other mobile. Please tell me about this

To Amit : sure you can't find those menus? i found it for the first time i use this phone.
from the day i bought this phone, it's pretty useful, but too bad it can't transfer pics and sounds through IrDa (phone-to-phone). i red that somebody can use Samsung software to transfer pics to pc. anyone can give the exact link?

btw there is one error, when i tried to use new memo-call menus its ALWAYS error.i dunno why.

Hi all!
There are two ways to download photos and sounds from your X620 to PC and to upload photos and sounds from PC to your X620.
1) use an infrared adapter, conected to USB port. Subsequently, you have to install Samsung PIM&File Manager. You have to install a driver to convert USB to serial port (usually, you will find this driver onto your CD, or on Internet), so Samsung software to detect an Infrared adapter on USB port (see Setup menu). Activate IR on your X620 and that's it.
2) simply buy and use a cable to connect your x620 to PC.

hi wanted to buy the phone in kenya bt they seem unavailable when i asked one of your dealer here was told that they had a problem and they were recalled back.wanted to find out if it is true and when they will be available because i have read the features and i think i need it please update me urgently before i change my mind

Hi all,
I purchased this model one month back.
It's camera is superb, but i think it is no use if we are not able to do download of images to PCs.
i installed the samsungs pc studio PIMs software on my pc.after that i don't know what to do. Is there any device required in my system to use IrDA. what to do to make tool to recognize my mobile? Can anybody help me on this. I don't have any cable. is there anything (cables)necessary to use IrDA..?

Everything Fine... but the Phone Suffers fromone drawback i.e there is alot of ECHO............at the listeners End due to which it becomes really difficult to contunue the conversation & the listener is continuously complaining about his own voice echoing in his ears Rest everything isfine but you cannot make or receive calls due to this problem

I thing Samsung made this mobile in hurry. Only 1 quality it's camera zoom. I think C-230 has better colors and radio sound than X620. I bought this mobile but it could'nt satisfy me.
