I read somewhere that infrared is only there to connect to the PC, not to other phones. that seems preety useless... Also you can't transfer java games & apps from your pc through usb or IrDA, only through WAP. The best thing about it would be using opera mini and mig33 on it because of the very nice display and memory, etc.

I am really intereseted in buying this phone but i notice alot of negative comments about transfering images and video taken by the camera to the computer. See i am looking to take photos and videos and put them onto my computer thats the main reason i want this phone i just want to know if transfering images and video is a problem and how good the quality of the pictures taken by the camera are ie: are they blurry poor quality?

does the infrared only works with samsung cellphones??? Is the infrared not capable of transfering images, ringtones and videos? can someone answer me plsssssss.....

With samsung pc studio II 2.0 PIMPS file manager (connected by IRDA) I can only transfer calendar, contacts. Send ringtones and images to phone is disabled. Receive images is work. Can i send images and ringtones by irda or not?

You can trasmit images ringtones and videos and your agenda of course through your infra red, you just have to download the samsung pc studio II 2.0 PIMPS file manager software for free at the samsung webpage. The are free links to dowload jave games to the phones just have to look better, obviusly not the best games, though you have to do it through the phone you cant upload via cable or irda. if somebody finds the way to do it let me know, hope i helped

another thing that really bothers me is that i can't download java games...it says the handset is not supported almost all the time..i haven't downloaded any jave game ever since...can someone give me site where i could download java games that are compatible with this handset...tnx..pls email me...

i found the cellphone's features very nice but one thing that disappoints me is that i can't send or receive images and ringtones via infrared...does the infrared works for that or really not?...can somebody pls answer me...hope for someones' quick reply...

its a cool phone, but i`m angry because i cant upload java games by USB Cable. I have to get them by wap, and i`m angry because i`ve bought some games and i pay some money on theme. can anyone help me???? irDa port sux so much. Only contact list data can be transfered trough irDA. No imgs, ringstones... Hate this. Lame irDA

you can download mp3 ringtones from various web sites, that's what I ended up doing because I didn't want to spend extra $$ buying a cable.
If you're in the US regions, try www.jamster.com
if you're in Australia like me then its www.jamster.com.au
there are some good mp3 ringtones for the 660 on there.

I bought the X660 recently & i cant get MP3 ringtones i have looked everywhere & looked through to c if any1 else has succeeded but nothing is compatible to this phone. Please Help!

i just bought my smasung x660 yesterday and my mum picked it up but i waz startingh to wish i hadnt got it but wen i sore it i fell in luv with it it has a great colour screen n it has heapz awesum functions u can also use da front screen as a camera too its an awesum fone n i had no problems with it at all .
