u can email from this phone if you want to send a text/ mms message you go to menu then the envolope then create message and text or mms in this case im doing mms after you have attach something go to options then send the n if you want to send it to an email click the * button on the bottom and then you can type letters

Do you mean how to use external screen for taking picture? It can only be done when the folder/flip is closed, activate the camera button on right side by long press ~2 sec, then the external screen will be activated and can be used as a viewfinder ( for self portrait mostly) then short press the camera button for taking picture, open the flip + open file manager to view the picture taken previously. I believe this will also work in any other Samsung flip phone with dedicated side camera button. However for this phone the external screen will only show monochrome picture.

Hey this phone is the best phone i ever had i like the idea it plays mp3 files and it also play while the lid of the phone is done you don't really need a cable for this because it has bluetooth and i dont think that cable are avaliable for this make, the bluetooth on this phone is the best ever!
and the design is great its much better then my older phone which was the samsung x640 i also like the exturnal screen and the camara! but the only thing i dont like is it has not email client! so you can't email anyboby you can only send via blue and MMS well i thin k samsung has done a pretty good JOB!!!!

If u live in Sydney the blutooth dongles are around $30 in allphones and they sell them on ebay for around 15 but then you have to pay for delivery.

The thing is called usb bluetooth dongle. In my country Malaysia it cost roughly USD10-15 only and it came with it's own software- Bluesoleil. x680 support profile file transfer so when you are already paired up x680 with your pc you can browse all the content in x680 (photo, mp3 ,etc) and then transfer any file that you want to your pc. Or otherwise you can transfer file from pc to x680 with object push (refer to my old post)

I dont have any problem with my samsung x680, just that I dont have a device to transfer my files to my computer and vice versa. What do you call the Bluetooth device to be attached to the computer to be able to download files to a computer? is it called bluetooth doggle? do anyone have an idea also on how much it cost? It will be a very great help for me.

hey guys, i had my x680 phone for a month now and am having no problems with it so far. actually, i've wanted a handset that has more features and higher resolution but since my budget is really low, i browsed through the net and found this good phone for a minimal price.
the video is okay, and it captures the sound clearly. the pictures are awesome. mp3 storage is not that high so the best thing you can do is to have your mp3s compressed to save more into your phone. actually, it's hard to find a usb-cable for samsung here in philippines, and if there is, it comes really pricey. so the usb-bluetooth is the best i can suggest to use for your pc-phone transfers, besides, it's more portable than the cable.

Hi to new user! You don't need usb cable or samsung pc studio to transfer mp3 or photo from pc. Get yourself a bluetooth dongle, pair your pc with x680, select object push>send object, browse the file you want and send to your x680. Then check corresponding folder in file manager- photo,mp3 etc. Not sure about jar file because i usually download directly from wapsite using gprs.

I cannot set the mobile to ring and vibrate when a SMS arrives, is that possible? I have the same problem with the call tones, is possible to have the phone to ring and vibrate at the same time?
