Hi to all x700 users..

I would to know, to me, it seems that the screen it kinda exposed like moto e398. So, does it get scratches easily? If yes, then where I could have to get the screen protector?

Yes, yuo can use mp3 as a ringtone, and battery is for 2-3 days.

      Hi Cimpal,

you can use the data cable to connect to your phone and use it as a modem. Then just go through the setup wizard when you open up the supplied software. I tried it with Maxis GPRS and it worked. Very expensive though!

              Hi Zaifi,

This phone has a stereo speaker. FM radio requires a headset. And yes you can download mp3 ringtones, polyphonic ringtones, etc using GPRS as long as the vendor supports your phone.

Samsung Fun Club supports this phone now but the ringtones there are crappy!

I prefer to use my own mp3 files and edit them into shorter snippets as ringtones.

                Hi xxccvv

Its quite easy to do that. Just go into the phone settings and choose USB setting. Then choose Mass Storage. Connect it to your laptop/PC using the PC link cable/bluetooth.

                      HI, Kean
Thanks for the info, but how exactly do you do what you have mentioned. What i do is take the t-flash out the phone and use it with a card reader.

                        Hi xxccvv

you can easily send mp3 files to your memory card by setting the phone as a mass storage device. Your phone will become a flash drive. Just drop all your mp3 files into the correct folder, which is "Music".

                          Hi Nell,

I am sad to hear about this...I don't understand why Samsung had to leave out EDGE for our region.

I guess I'll just have to get a new phone with 3G then hehehehe..maybe in a few months time

When transferring mp3's to the phone is there a way to transfer it to the t-flash card instead of the phone?
                            Any ideas

                              Hi Sherry

I have sent mp3 files to Motorola v360 and also send a small snippet of video in mp4 format to my brother's K750i before. So the answer is yes!

Yes, you can play both mp3 and mp4 files straight from the memory. If you have read my previous posting, I also mentioned that mp3 files with bitrates higher than 160 will not play from the card. You will need to move them over to the phone memory.

You can play mp3 files from both the phone memory or the memory card.

I have not encountered any problem with bluetooth connections. My fren's phone can detect my presence pretty fast using Bluetooth.

As for the screen quality, it is very very nice. Even my fren who uses a SE750i thinks x700's screen is better. Its bright and it gives very good details of photos that I have. So I think Curious could be looking at a faulty unit. My screen is not dull and yellowish at all.

I do admit that the recording function is not good. Picture taking is much better.

I HAVE A REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION... can anybody answer that is it possible to copy mpeg4 ang images in the memory card (not phones memory) & does the phone have access to them or not?
i ve heard that the phone can only play mp3s from the memory card! is it right????????
