Hi Usman,
Thank you for you response. But, i've tried that and it seems that the "Text Position" box is not activated. I can't change anything in it. I can see it but nothing can't change. This phone is unlocked and was originally from Orange UK. Please let me know if any other possible ways to get into that "Text Position" and make it Changeable. Thank you and would really appreacite your help!!!

To change the text position on display, select Menu....Settings.... Display Settings.... Text Display.... Text Position. There are 3 options : Top, Bottom, OFF.... By selecting last option, the displayed text is removed..... But you can't remove the time/date ....

I did this mistake in samsungx700.tk forum for mms settings .... The correct IP address for mms is 172.025.020.012 with Port : 8080 . For gprs and wap, the setting (that i have posted on above forum) is correct .... Just follow the settings of mms that i have posted on 06 march, 2007 in this page... Then you will be able to send / receive mms on your X700....
To arief:
The registration key number of softick ppp 2.21 software is included in my updated games installation pdf guide that i have uploaded on http://usmanafzal.4shared.com .... Please download it ..... After entering this number in softick ppp software, close it and again open it.... Then you can use this software forever without any time limit!
To Rajesh:
Samsung X700 only supports JAR/JAD files .... You can't install sis file since X700 is non-symbian mobile....

usmaan bhai,in samsungx700.tk forum u told(setting of gprs and mms forum )
(for mms setting ,)Now under GPRS Settings, enter these values :
IP Address : 172.024.097.029
Port : 8080
and here you gave 175.25.20.12
so which one is correct for mms?????
and port 8080 is correct or 9201???
my mms is still not working,pls display it.

Hello guys..
I used this phone about 1 week, and i'm very satified...i've download all java apllication through usb cable succesfully...
and i want to ask some questions here:
1. when i used softppp, it showed evaluation version about 8 days...so, if the license expired can i used it again???
2. and btw if all of you have the license number, pleaseee...share with us.

I've been using this phone since last june. one major prob i feel is that there are no ringing profiles. also the mp3 player is pretty rudimentary and there is no customisable theme option.

There is sometimes problem with kingston 1GB microSD cards .... Use SanDisk cards.... There is no problem with Sandisk 1GB card as reported by Ali (an X700 user) ....
To philly:
Don't try to change the "text messaging service center" number because without this default number, you can't send/receive any message.

usman bhai ,i did setting of mobilink jazz,gprs working now,but mms not works,it says cant connect server,mms icon come and try to goes,but it not go,and,i want setting for gmail pls,

Could anybody help me to change the Text Messaging Service Center Number. I am puting the New Text Messaging Service Number in SMS settings and click Save but it's always going back to the original one. Please advise. Thank you!

Asalam 0 alikum wrbkt,
i m using this x700 since 7 months, and now when i bought 1GB kingston microSD. sometimes when restarted the phone does not show the memory card although it informs when ever card removed/inserted! i have some data written on card.
wht could be the problem? thankx

On your PC, open any image in any image editing software (like irfanview) and adjust it's resolution to 176 x 220 pixels.... And then transfer it to your mobile & set as wallpaper .... While i don't have any airtel ringtone .... But i will upload some good mp3 ringtones to (http://usmanafzal.4shared.com) soon .... Please wait for few hours....

SALAM! hi Usman i need ur help once again. Do u have some mp3 soft ringtones of A R REHMAN like airtel. I dont know the name of that tone but i had listened his tone in fm 99 when they had given the tribute to him. So if u have tones of rehman kindly send it to my mail. Secondly how can i set a wallpaper in full screen do u have any idea about this? Thanks

If u want good music and camera then k750i is better.
But if u want excellent display with good camera and high reliability then samsung X700 is the best choice.It also has EDGE dta trnsfer.

I am using X700 from last 6,8 month , its signal reception as compared to other mobile is little less ,if any one have information about this problem.
