need help!!! Can someone please tell me how to download java games into the phone? I've tried downloading through USB cable, it can't execute the file, tried to dowload through WAP - it says that there's an "Install Error". Please answer as soon as possible.
this is a message from kampot,i have the same problem with my phone,that is even after i configurate gprs settings with a support of vodafone,so a mistake on settings is out of questions.so,we need help,pls

i see there is a way to record conversation,i'll try it hope it works,wud b awesome, guys is there a way to make the sms memory unlimited,there is such a large shared memory,i even notice its not compatible with nokia picture messages, but even if the memory becomes unlimited it wud b awesome..

i soo agree,the 3 features i miss, especially the limited sms memory.I hope there is someway to enhance that,some firmware or something.

this set is shit simple ... used it for only two weeks as i used 6630 nokia previously ...this set has too many ...not this set all samsung even d500 has sms problems of displaying proper names of people who sent u the sms ...it shows name of some other contact where as in reality sms sender is someone else .... however when u reopen the messages then names are properly displayed .... this problem occurs when u are reading a sms n at the same time u receive another sms ....
try it urself ...
another problem no mp3 background playback common samsung grow up...
another problem cheap low quality headset sound ..
another problem low ringtone volume
another problem restarts now n then but compromised as 6630 was slow in booting n this set restarts fast but still annoying...

Keep the APN name space empty..the name 'internet' is just used to download java applications n games..if u keep the APN name internet then you wont be able to use gprs(internet) in java..

WASTREL GUY: just try this for conversation recording: when the conversation starts, type #*22671#. for stop recording #*22672#. (don't forget to type the latter at the end)

I m using samsung X700.It has gud features but some important features are not available.
1.MP3 player doesnt play songs in background
2.We cant use voice recorder during a call
3.SMS memory of just 200 messages

Hello All,
After insatalling OperaMini 3.0 through USB cable, it does not connect to internet, saying there is a failure. I have APN as "internet" with login and password empty s JAVA setting.
Any Help Plz......

hi...usman...how r u bro ? what happened to x700 manual in pdf format. Although i have given the links for downloading what you have discussed here , still then we need the complete manual.
hope u find some time from your busy schedule and give the link for dl.
i just love this phone because of unlimited features. anybody is having any question do search first and then ask.
already i have given the links for downloading all the solutions to all the problems given by Usman in my older mails. i request all to download that and go through it.

MURALI: The feature allows you to save a particular ringtone for a person in your phonebook. when you select 'caller ringtone', u'll enter the contact list, select any entry, then whenever that person calls, you'll hear that tone. simple,isn't it? (you can activate the same feature, in contact menu also, by editing an entry.)enjoy.
