Hello there
Have been using this phone for a few months. Great feel so far. Couple of things I thought would be great -
a. Record a voice call that is active
b. Show pictures/movie on TV directly from the mobile
Wondering if someone has tried a solution for these two. Do share.

I had this phone for a short period before upgrading and I'm going to go back to it. It's smart, easy to use, lightweight and takes great photos - all I want/need from a phone.

I can't find anwering machine option in my handset, the path which u had posted is not showing answering machine link.Is there any new version on s/w for x-700?

can it be because the majority of my photos are made in "multishot mode"?since i made those photos i can't even download music from my PC. please i desper. need an answer. Can anybody help me with my problem?

I need help!!! Can someone please tell me how to download java games into the phone? I've tried downloading through USB cable, it can't execute the file, tried to dowload through WAP - it says that there's an "Install Error". Please answer as soon as possible.

I have answered your phone book query on 26 november, 2006 .... This was the answer:
"Select Menu...Phonebook... Management... Memory Status...
To show only SIM contacts, select “SIM” option ... It will only show contact numbers present on sim's memory...
To show only Phone contacts, select “Phone” option ... It will only show contact numbers present on phone's memory..."
While to improve camera performance, there must be excellent light conditions available and settings to super fine / size SXGA....
To Mohamed:
In X700, there is no vibration+ ring at the same time but you can use vibrating mmf ringtones on X700.... An X700 user told me that his X700 has this vibration+ring feature ( he bought X700 from india few months back)!
Samsung X700 is better than Nokia 6670 in many aspects like camera quality, sound quality, display quality, small size, faster GPRS / EDGE , Stereo FM Radio, call/ radio recording, faster user interface, best security options ( to lock all folders / memory card), large internal memory, answering machine, and many more! but 6670 is a symbian phone so there are large number of softwares available but slow responding phone ....

Dear Friends: i had a problem my phone book shows contacts in both phone memory and SIM memory.I want to select only phone memory .it means my phone book shows contacts only in phone memory.plz help me via email on

this phone is AWESOME...
but u cannot save msgs on memory card however this phone can save upto 200 + sim's memory for msgs..and no it doesnt effect the phone's internal/external user memory...
To AliRidha:
u can activate the answering machine feature by going to: Menu->Messages->Answering Machine->Settings... however u cannot do what u are saying..
u can record ur voice as wel as the other person's voice if u enter the code after the call gets 'connected'...

This a phone that i regret no having a long time ago.But thanks God i do have it now! May someone tell me how i may get back the free kick game which go deleted by ma son.. I need it back badly. Thanks.

HI,
Any Idea if I can activate the answering machine while someone is calling and waiting for me to pick up, I always put the answering machine to be activated after 20 seconds, but sometimes there are people who call the wrong number and I don't like to answer and tell him "you got the wrong number" twice or three times, I'd like to press a code (if there is any) and make the answering machine answer before waiting for 20 seconds, I tried pressing the "recording" code (#*22671#) while someone is waiting for me to answer his call, but it only records my voice after answering (just trying to say that the codes do work when there's someone waiting for you to answer).

To Tina:
Open Nero Burning ROM Software on your PC and start Nero Express.... It will be asked to you that “What would you like to burn?.... Select “Video/Pictures.... Video CD....” Now, add the pictures (images of X700) that you want to burn by pressing “Add” button.... After this,check ON “enable VCD Menu” option.... and press “Next” button.... Choose layout style, background, and enter the text to display with header/ footer .... Click “Next” button... Make sure that Blank CDR or CD RW is inserted into CD drive.... Enter disc name and press “Burn” button....
After making this VCD, you can play this into any VCD player and all pics can be seen on TV screen as slide show.... On PC, right click on CD icon and select “Autoplay” option and select “View slide show of images” ....

I have a lot of collections of photos taken by samsung X700 in my pc.do u know any method by which i can view them on my Tv using the VCD player??i mean i have NERO burning software.can i use the option "burn images to disc".by using that method will it work on my VCD player.
i'm confused.plz help me.TINA
