Usman , plzz help me . The mic of my headset is not working, i can hear others voice but they cannot hear mine. I bought this phone only 2 months ago . How could i rectify this issue . Also is there is any folder locking option in X700. If there is, what is the default password of this mobile ...??

recently, i'd installed Reporo-free Internet Messaging(IM) texting n picture messaging, but when i run on the phone, i've got 'the application has unexpectedly quit because it ran out of memory' message. anyone know]?

hello all...
pls help me..i am using this phone from last may. good phone, but now the mp3 player doesnot work.each song can be played seperately, but none can be added to the playlist. if i try to add,the options for adding comes and the playlist is shown but if we go back and go the playlist again,it is empty.
will the master reset code #*7728# work in this case. will it void the warranty?

Please check your mails.... I sent some games/ softwares to you.... I have also included Opera Mini 2.0 version.... You can install it through usb or wap also (read my post on 9 october, 2006).... And X700 forum is a good suggestion.... There is need for that kind of forum....

Can you send me some games sofware as attachment which you are sure would work with X 700 and are compatible with it.
I am asking bcoz...I have installed quite a few games from the site that you told me...but many are not responding to some keys....even Prince of Persia 3 does not works at some stage....
I wud be glad if you cud send me some...
I am thinking of creating a forum where we can share games/softwares/issues related exclusively to X700. I will let u know the URL soon and you will be the Moderator/administrator.

Videos : 0 KB
Music : 6760KB
Sounds : 4KB
Other Files : 392KB
MMS : 764KB
Email : 45KB
Java World : 2766KB / 4096KB
So, the total user memory is about 30858KB (excluding Java)..... If i includes java, then the total user memory will be 34954KB or 34.1 MB ....

Dear All,
Wishing all a very happy new year...
I have one query. When i connect my cell to USB the disp shows USB Connected...
But it doesnt get connected to PC Studio s/w.Also i cannot access my cell's Memeory card files.
The Phone stops responding ie even keypad cannot be unlocked... it keeps on showing Connected to USB..
Any Solution....???

The MP3 Player of SE K750i is better than X700 because of having equalizer and it can be minimized also.... Sound quality is also excellent.... But it's joystick is the major problem.... One of my friend has K750i and after 8 months of usage, the left and down function of joystick was not working!.... dust particles/ moisture affects very badly to it's joystick.... Yes, SE service center can repair/ replace it but i must say that it's joystick is not user friendly!..... Also my brother's K700i had joystick problem.... It was too hard and not useable....
Please read my previous comparison about X700 and K750i on 19 JUNE, 2006.... In that post, the only change is that X700 can record phone calls / FM radio programs upto 1hour long per file....
Go for W810i instead of K750i because W810i has 5 ways navigation keys ( no joystick!)....Also it has EDGE feature....

See zeeshan about 27MB(excluding 4MB java) is only available to user.u have lost about 7MB.isn't it??as usman said try to transfer all ur files to pc or memory card and see how much memory is there since there might be some hidden files in your phone which u cannot see.This same thing happened with the memory card of my nokia 6600 which i used some four months back.
Also another chance is that ur phone is infected by mobile virus.i have seen same cases here in UK(samsung D500).the only option left is to flush the software from a samsung service center.don't do it by ur own.Samsung service centre people are cooperative.If ur phone is under warranty then u have nothing to worry about.best of luck pal.

This is john here.i was using my samsung X700 for the past 4 months.I got a really good offer to exchange this phone with the sony ericsson K750i.Ii'm in a real delimma what to do.
actually i'm a very gud fan of music so my preference is basically going to be mp3 player.X700 served me really well.The music it provides through headset i really good.
Usaman what do u think???.How is the music in K750i through headset.Can it match with the music quality provided by samsung X700?? i also read in this forum that there is some problems assosiated with the joystick of K750i.is it true????since i think samsung has an edge over sony ericsson in terms of reliablity.

Sorry brother.... I don't know the phone format code.... Transfer all your data from your phone to memory card or PC.... Then check again.... There is a way by flashing it but it will void the warranty.... Go to samsung service centre .... May be they can help on this matter....
