      To Muhammad Jameel:
I have checked the site link that you have given .... and yes! When i uploads a java game (jar file) then it gives me a wap downloading link ... and on X700 after going to that link, there is no installation started and file is just downloaded and message appears that “ unsupported content”.... It means that this site does not make jad file which is NECESSARY for installing applications on X700.... So, this site is USELESS....

Just try my recommended site for uploading/ downloading games and the address is:
      http://pcs.cruz-network.net/ ( to access from PC )
When page is loaded, go to Java Midlet section by scrolling down..... and select any “Jar” file which is present on your PC .... please note that X700 does not support jar file size more than 300KB.... So, keep this in your mind that limitation.... and you have to only upload “jar” file .... and the site automatically creates jad file from this.... Then you will see a file ID code which you can enter when opening this wap page on X700:
      http://pcs.cruz-network.net/jump.php
Your file will be present on this site for 24 hours only when you downloaded it and for 48 hours when not downloaded ....
So, the installation will be started and you can see the clown and progress bar moving....
Enjoy downloading..... and please reply if you found any problem!

                    To waqas:
By default, TELENOR gives you active GPRS connection.... May be, the page you are trying to open is not a wap page or not supported by wap browser.... Try to change the home page to http://wap.google.com
and go to this page and see if it works or not.... Also check that the “E” logo of EDGE in red colour is present when you are trying to access internet.... ( telenor has EDGE service.... the faster GPRS version! ).... ( USMAN )

                      To Usman,
I've tried downloading the software you recommended to me but it didn't work. I finally gave up. So, I'm asking if any of you know where can I find for vibrating MP3s for my phone's ringing tones? Thanks in advance.

                          To Nicole :
Yes.... PSM Player only supports MMF and MIDI ringtones and does not support MP3 or WAV files.... But there is a freeware software named “One Click Ringtones” which can convert MP3 into ringtones files.... It's home page address is : http://www.monkeybongo.com/
I still not used this software but found after searching of only 1 minute on google!.... Try it and please inform the ringtones conversion results.... Thanks!

                            To Usman,
I've read your post regarding the vibrating ringing tones but I've tried google and searching for device which I can convert my MP3 into MMF because PSM player only supports MMF, isn't it? Everything needs to be paid, even the free trial only converts 1 second of MP3 into MMF! My gosh! I would really appreciateif anyone can give me a solution. Thanks.

                              To danish:
The default USB Setting for X700 is “Modem”..... After using USB mass storage option, Use safely disconnect hardware option ( in system tray ). When drive is safely disconnected, then, remove usb cable from X700 and again connect it OR just change the USB Setting to “Modem”……Samsung PC Studio will quickly recognize your set..... I am using this for last 3 or 4 months..... and EVERY TIME it recognize my X700 in my first attempt!....

You can use vibrating ringtones on X700 which can ring and vibrate at the same time.... For making vibrating ringtones , read my previous post on September 15, 2006..... Thanks!

Yes .... You can access internet from PC using X700's internet connection....First of all, install Samsung PC Studio 3.0 software from CD of X700.... For info about how to do this, read my previous post on August 24, 2006.... Now, connect your X700 with PC using usb cable and open the software... You will see “SGH-X700 Connected” message .... Now, click “Manage Internet Connections” icon.... You will see a networking wizard .... Just click “Next” button.... Now select “Create a new connection” option.... and click “Next” button.... Now, enter the connection name in the textbox ( enter any name as you like).... and click “Next” button.... Now, select the modem (Samsung Mobile USB Modem 1.0) to be used for internet connection .... Click “Next” button....Select the country name and your Service Provider's name... if not listed your country's name then select country name as “Others”.... Enter APN name of your service provider.... (you can get this by going to wap browser (on X700).... profile settings....select your wap profile....go to GPRS Settings.... APN Name)
Enter this phone number : *99**1*1#
Click “Next” then again click “Next” button.... Now click “Finish” button.... You will see a Networking Wizard dialog box that “ If you connect to the internet via your phone, PC Studio will be disconnected. Do You want to connect to the Internet?.... If you want to connect now, click “Yes” button.... You will see connect dialog box .... Just Click “Dial” button.... With in 5-6 seconds, your PC will be connected at 460kb/s speed.... but use this connection only for emergency purpose.... because it is very very costly as compared when you use gprs ( by wap browser / opera mini ) on X700....

So, if anyone of you has the solutions, please do not mind to share with me. Waiting for the replies. Thanks. :)
