Just select radio channel and turn radio ON.... now, minimise radio and enter this code:
#*22671#
To stop recording, enter #*22672#
i discovered this feature accidently.... for more info, also read my previous post on 13 september 2006....

This is because your memory card acts as a “removable disk” appears on “my computer” and you can copy / paste files to / from your memory card / PC....while Samsung PC Studio cannot access memory card..... so, when you select usb mass storage option, PC studio will be disabled.... and you can see safely remove hardware icon on system tray.... For info about how to use this option, read my previous post on 24 august 2006.....

Why you are using poor quality video files on your X700? .... This is not the X700 fault .... The video display quality is slightly better than K750i.... And use MP4 video files instead of 3GP videos.... For info about how to make these MP4 files, read my previous post on 07 september 2006..... and if you follow the procedure, then you can view DVD quality movies on your X700.....

Nice phone. i use Total Convertor software for this to make mp4 videos and mp3 files. but i want to download games in. so any 1 tell me how i can do? plz plz i love this phone and the games i like. so plz tell me how i download Games....

This very nice set but problem is 3gp video if you want to see video movies and songs etc you will found very very poor quality and you have a option for password on images, vedios, massages etc this good think.

whenever I select Mass Storage option from my x700 the pc studio stops working can anyone help? Is my sd card damaged ? I dont think its damaged bcoz its saving stuff from phone and playing mp3 saving files when I transfer them from phone to card then wats the matter plz help

To (Ayaz Noor) Thanks for the suggestion of using GPRS but if one does'nt have GPRS enable on mobile then what can one do to download games.

no.. the mp3 cannot be minimised...
Yes, you can record calls.
You have to type #*22671# to start recording
and #*22672# to stop recording.
It will be saved as ENGMODE.amr to Sound->Voice list

Error messages like "503 service unavailable""bad gateway" "memory insufficient to down load (even in 10 min video)", mp3 songs unable 2 download. Please reply.

one more thing.... you will get NO error message when files are on phone's memory and you can use both methods to add mp4 files to playlist..... when file is on memory card, then select mp4 file and add to playlist.....

(to Sohail Kashif): the method also doesnt work for me.. i dont even get the option for choosing my com port.. but dont worry.. u can download apps via gprs.. the easiest method of all.. search opinions for 'gprs', 'wap', 'java', 'getjar' etc..

You can play these MP4 audio files using X700's MP3 Player and also you can add these files to playlist by follow this:
Go to menu....file manager....music.... and select MP4 audio file. And select “options”..... “ add to playlist”
This will add file to playlist of MP3 player....
Note: When trying to add MP4 audio files to playlist by just opening MP3 player.... then you will get “not supported content” error message on your X700... So, always use first method to add MP4 audio files to playlist!!

thanks for ur reply... u really seem to be the guru of this forum..great job... and also one more query.. As u said i tried converting mp3 files to mp4 audio files using NERO burning rom software.. sound quality is excellent wit such small file size... but can these mp4 audio files be played by the default mp3 player of the phone... or it'll jus play lik a mp4 video file...

Sorry! I have read your message incorrectly.... my previous post was for call receiving.... for miscall, i am not sure.... what would be the problem... if still not found any solution for this problem, try this master reset code for X700 (only use as last option at your own risk):

but before doing this, you need to make backup for all your data saved on X700....

NO.... X700 has 20 default ringtones.... and you can transfer more ringtones to your phone (mp3, mp4 audio or aac, mmf, midi).... and you cannot find some X700's features on other mobiles at very low price but with quality.....

After full charging, battery works for about 36 hours (for me) since i uses FM/ MP3 / MP4 video player for about 1 to 2 hours.... opera mini web browser for about 1 hour .... making 1 or 2 calls...since when using opera, backlights still ON.... and X700 is a speaker phone.....it has dual stereo speakers.... X700 can record maximum 29 minutes 34 seconds high quality ( 176 x 144 pixels ) 3gp video with sound to phone's own memory.... After recording, transfer it to pc or memory card.... then you can record more 29 min video.....
