To (a bathing ape):
1.The mp3 player is simple and support only one playlist. And playlist only support 50 mp3 files at a time. You can make many new folders in the memory card and put every 50 music files in one folder.You can listen mp3 files through bluetooth headset also.
The sound quality of player is excellent but maximum volume of mp3 player is less than that of FM radio.
You can pause/ resume the playing file, play next/ previous file, rewind/forward the file, repeat/ shuffle mode, change visual looks of player as well.
2. Samsung made it difficult to install games/ softwares through usb cable/ bluetooth and needs some expertise and normal user finds difficulty but IT IS POSSIBLE. Please read posts sent by hill on previous pages for complete procedure.
3.The battery life is normal and also depends on display/sounds or other settings. For moderate use of mp3 player/ FM radio, it takes 1.5 days . I recharges battery every night. Full charging takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
4. For free java softwares sites, please read my previous post on 2006-07-20 at 20:50
I still have not found any mp3 player java software.
5. Yes, you can use animated gif file as wallpaper. I have 7 animated gif files that I received through bluetooth.

Hi i bought x700 two days ago. i have a question. one of my friends has samsung d600. and when i compare the screen brightness, the screen of d600 looks more bright than x700. as far as i know they both have the same screen proporties.so is it normal or my x700 has a problem?

4) where can i get free java apps/games?
is there a better mp3 player java software that i can put on the phone?

i have some important questions:
1) how is the mp3 player organized? can you make different folders so it can act as different albums?
2) i heard java app/games support is not too good. is it still possible to transfer java games through data cable or bluetooth?
3) i heard some ppl say the battery life is poor. if i use applications such as mp3 and radio, will it dramatically decrease battery life? i don't mind charging it every 2 days.

samsung x700 is pretty good mobile with following features:-

>>>2 stereo speakers that produce a very good quality sound wich is even louder than Sonyericsson K750i when compared in media player.....otherwise the sound of k 750i may b a bit louder than x700 when compared as a ringtone......

i hav used nokia 7610,6630,sonyericsson w550i,k608i, k500i, and now i am using this mobile and it is really a gud mobile so just BUY IT

To anartia: Have you ever used any radio phone before? All nokia/SE radio phones like nokia 2300, 6610i, SE k700i, k750i have this problem, means you cannot use radio without plugging earphones. It acts as an antenna for radio. You can activate speakers by radio menu....

Hi Guys I bought Samsung X 700 a month ago, it is good but their are some inherent issues
The problem with the earphone and speakers are not only with you guys..Run a check on the phone from your dealer. I faced the same problem as soon as i bought it, it turned out that the souldering on the earpieces was not done in the right manner.Moreover it should have the feature of vibration come ringtone, to avoid inconvienience, as u normally have on Nokia Handset. The Earpiece is to large with those built in anttenas, it seems they are not build for average humans with average ears.

Also the screen of D820 is biggar than X700 and play full screen video.

Beside Samsung X700 I bought Samsung D820 and found that the sound of the X700 is much better and far sronger than the D820 also the radio is absent in D820. The software of D820 is new and better. The security on call register and phone book and phone theft is added. The facility of copying all contacts to the sim card is added. Video quality is greater. The Mp4 players plays high quality files upt 841 kb/s. The picsel viewer is great. it opens word, excel, powerpoint,Txt files as well as larges Images. The playlists are four each 30 files. more dialling fonts options. Many options for vibration and melody.

hello everybody,
i bought an x700 two days back and i am facing a problem with it..while playing FM, even when the speaker mode is ON (in the options i set it), it is giving an alert "Earphone not detected". Means, even if we want to listen to the FM on speaker, the ear phone should be plugged into the phone!
has anybody faced the same problem?? is there any settings to be set for it ?(other than the one in 'options')

I have this phone and it's very good but i have a few problems with it and these are:
1) Can i store more than fifty songs for one playlist onto my memory card?
2) Any idea whether this phone can download new MPEG4 video and is it free?
3) Where to get this phone battery and is it less than fifty dollars?
4) any other website that can download other english songs?
PLEASE TELL ME THE ACTUAL ANSWERS BY TONIGHT AS I NEED IT URGENTLY. I will tell u more details other than these problems.

Dear Experts.I am user of samsung x700 its a really cool phone with hish quality features but i am facing a strange problem its a jave games downloading problem i download java game by usb using its own samsung pc studio 3 but its was not working then i delete and download again but same problem so please if some body help me how i install games in my phone i shall be thankfull all of u i installed all these game on my w800 very quick and easy.Thnaks
